| Chupacabras Attacks Reported in South Central Mexico Posted: 30 Aug 2010 12:25 PM PDT   Thanks to Scott Corrales of Inexplicata for the following reports: Mexico: The Chupacabras in Puebla and Guanajuato, Mexico - Over 300 Goats Decapitated Shepherds from various communities in Puebla State are frightened by the attacks to their herds. They suspect the presence of natural predator, a nahual (shapeshifter) or the Chupacabras. Authorities have combed the area. Shepherds from Colonia San Martín, Los Reyes Metzontla and Cañada Ancha in Puebla State are frightened by the attacks on their flocks by either the Chupacabras, wild dogs or some other wild creature that they've been unable to hunt down, and which has caused the deaths of over 300 goats for some 50 days now. Felix Martinez Hernández, president of Colonia San Martin, said that on August 14th at around 7:00 a.m., over 36 goats were found butchered in the Colonia San Martin strip, located 18 km south of the municipality. The presence of a predator, nahual or the Chupacabras is suspected. People who live in the community explained that the phenomenon increased after the rains, and this led them to seek support from the authorities in dispelling the mystery, which has people frightened due to the cruel way in which the goats were dispatched. Anacleto Enrique Montiel Barbosa spoke of his concerns, acknowledging his fear over what is occurring in Zapotitlán: In this community, in the southern reaches of the state, most families owning this sort of livestock have been affected. According to Anacleto, he first heard gunshots originating on his terrain, where he kept over 120 goats in a pen, "supposedly secure". Upon reaching the site, he saw his fellow shepherd, Alvaro Mendoza, firing a rifle against some "dogs" that were fleeing the area. Other residents arrived to see what was going on. They found that over 36 animals had been beheaded in a strange way and furthermore, without a single drop of blood in evidence. Local authorities under commander Leonardo García Sánchez combed the area in order to find the goat slayers, but only managed to catch two dogs. The locals killed the dogs, opened them up and found that they did not contain any traces of goat blood or flesh. This caused them to recall the legend of the nahual.  SAGARAPA Turns Decective The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fishing and Food (SAGARAPA, in Spanish) has not received any reports on the goat deaths. However, in coming days, the Animal Development and Health Committee may look into the matter. The sudden appearance of these animals displaying signs of violence has given rise to speculation. In the next few days, experts may determine the cause of the deaths. They will look for substances in the flesh or the blood, says Ignacio Carrasco Sandoval, the federal regional district head: "While the agency only intervenes in cases involving death by illness, what the peasants have stated up to now [appears to involve] feline attacks. If so, the agency would have no further involvement as such." The Hunt Begins Concern among the locals increased. Since Monday, bands of peasants were formed to monitor the communities. Last weekend, a peasant reported the presence of some tigers, or something similar. He advised the authorities and the town to conduct watches during the night and the morning hours. Locals were also urged to look after their families, advising them to refrain from going outside after 8:00 p.m., when natural light fades in the rural areas. Local watches commenced in the rancherías of San Martin, Los Reyes Mazontla, La Meza and others. Their members state their unwillingness to lose more cattle, and are willing to face down the nahuales, or whatever is involved. Animals of the Night According to legend, the nahual changes its human form for a given time to acquire the form a chosen animal. The nahual can only transmogrify at night, attacking our children with infernal spells. In the area of Los Tuxtlas there is a long-held belief in nahuales. It is said that some people can turn into birds and are endowed with the power of flight. The nahual can have several protecting spirits, much like North American natives. To this time, there is no scientific evidence of the existence of nahuales. The Chupacabras in Puebla? Felix Martínez Hernández reported that the attacks cause concern among locals by affecting their livelihood. He indicates that the affected shepherds are calling for an investigation to trap the animals that have caused the goats' deaths, and that officialdom should compensate them for their losses. "There are no signs of robbery during the attacks, no cases involving revenge, and therefore that can be discarded. We want this to stop, because people don't want any more losses." Moreover, Eliseo Barragán Guevara, who has suffered the loss of 62 goats, all with bites to the neck, explained: "They were killed at night, because I arrived in the morning and they were all scattered, with bite marks, and 10 goats had head injuries. It looks like dogs were involved, but not normal ones. Perhaps wild ones or something, because judging by the wounds inflicted, they had long fangs." Chupacabras in Guanajuato? Cattle attacks were also reported in another Mexican state, this time in March 2010. In Yuriria, Guanajuato, shepherds discussed their experiences on television. Attacks by the "Gargoyle" resemble those of the mythic Chupacabras to a certain extent, given that it operates under cover of darkness and allegedly exsanguinates its victims. Some people have identified it with the Chupacabras, yet others believe it is a differnt, elusive and sinister entity whose lair is in Barrio Ensenada, amid the ruins and tunnels of the Guanica Sugar Mill, where the skeletons of its victims can be found. The Gargoyle's exploits have gone on for many years, mostly in Guánica, but in Lajas and San Germán as well. The creature has been seen by people who have opted to avoid making formal complaints to the Police, fearing they'll be considered mentally disturbed or subjected to scorn. With the exception of one policeman and a schoolteacher who researchers strange phenomena, the other parties involved refused authorization to disclose their names. A gargoyle is a mythic entity, a mixture of human and bird, represented by stone statues. These are placed on the cornises of cathedrals and other buildings. A Human Is Attacked "He was injured in his stomach, his [abdominal] fat could be seen," noted a witness, describing the injuries suffered by a man on his belly and back, caused as if by "an animal's claws." The witness soberly expalined that the wounded man lifted the t-shirt he put on after the attack, saying that a "large winged" animal took him by surprise in his back yard and attacked him. The injured party, surnamed Valdo, also spoke to policemen patrolling the area where the attack took place, near Guánica Lagoon, in the mid-1990s. Police officer Miguel Negrón states that he has not seen what is popularly referred to as the gargoyle, but two months ago, while patrolling the area with another officer near the old Guánica Sugar Mill, he heard the beating of powerful wings, as if something was propelling itself off the zinc roof of one of the mill's cranes. Agent Negrón indicated that some describe the gargoyle as a very large bird, emitting a sulfuric or rotten odor. It feeds on live animals like dogs, cats and horses, draining their blood and leaving them dry. The creature goes forth at night or in the early morning hours, and for this reason there are few sightings. There are no photos or videos of the phenomenon, which attacks healthy animals, unlike a predator that seeks out sick or feeble animals. | UPDATE: UFO Crash - Central Valley, California Posted: 30 Aug 2010 11:38 AM PDT  Since early July of this year, I have been documenting the UFO activity over the Fresno / Clovis / Sanger, California areas thanks to information forwarded to me by my friend Jeff Gonzalez, MUFON State Section Director/Investigator and founder of the Sanger Paranormal Society. Over the past few days, another incident has occurred in this area that has been covered by several blogs and UFO sites. I just 'sat back' to see what was going to result from the evidence. Last night, I asked Jeff to forward a statement in reference to this incident: Lon...I received a call on my UFO hotline number at 559-287-UFOS(8367) Saturday night around 8:40 PM. It was from Justin who I have spoken to in person on 2 separate occasions. He contacted me about 3 weeks ago that he saw me on a TV news station about the Clovis incident case #24103. The reason Justin called me 3 weeks ago because he needed to talk to someone about all the things him and his wife were witnessing around their home for the past 4 years. I met with him and he described the weird crafts that they both have seen flying around a mountain and over their house. He told me they were mostly triangular in shape but there were other craft that he and his wife have been witnessing and they know that those crafts were not airplanes or helicopters. He used to be in the military so he knows what a airplane and a helicopter look like. This past Saturday night, 8-21-10, I received a call from Justin advising me that I need to come over to his house ASAP. I asked him why and he stated to me that a triangle-shaped craft just hit the side of the mountain which is about 3 to 4 miles away. I really didn't know how to respond to what he just said. That's when I heard 2 other people in the back ground which I found out later to be his wife and mother. I can hear them describing what they are witnessing over the phone in the background and that's when I knew something serious was going on near them. I told him I just got out of the shower, I am going to put on clothes, grab my video equipment and I will be in-route to his house. Justin's house is about 20 to 25 min from my house by freeway. While in-route, I grabbed my video camera and started to record myself driving to the location. Also, I called Justin back on my cell phone and put him on speaker and started to talk to him. I told him to start describing to me what he, his wife and mother were witnessing. He started by saying that his mother and wife were already home and he had just gone outside when they told Justin to look at the side of the mountain. They asked him about the weird looking lights. Justin looked and noticed what they were witnessing also. It was still light outside but barely and he described to me that he was looking at a triangle shape object siting on the side of that mountain. He said it had white lights on each corner and a bright light underneath in the center with some blue and red lights on the sides. He said the shape was definitely a triangle. After observing it for a couple of minutes, he said the craft lifted up about 30 to 40 ft as it was trying to take off but could not and the craft again fell to the ground. It attempted to lift off again with no luck and again the craft slammed back down. It did not try to take off anymore. He even said it looked liked the craft was damaged on one side. After a few minutes went by, the 3 witnesses started to see vehicles - cars and trucks - arrive at the site. These vehicles came from over the mountain and from below. He said they just came out of nowhere. He did not know if they were military or not. By this time it's dark and they see the vehicles headlights on the hill and what he says are helicopters flying over head...but he wasn't sure. I am now turning on Copper Ave. getting close to arriving to his house when he said the vehicles and other crafts started to leave. By the time I arrived, you could not see anything on the hill except for 3 lights. At that time, I assumed that those 3 lights I was videotaping all night long on the side of the hill were from the craft in question, but it turned out that it was a house. It was around 11:00 pm when I started to see some action. I videotaped other vehicles coming to the site with one vehicle turning on a spot light where you can see on the video. I also caught people walking around with flash lights and on a couple occasions captured very bright blue flashes of light coming from the area. Justin advised me, to him it looked like someone was arch welding. He was familiar with the type of light because he had arc weld before so that's why he made that assumption. At 12:00 am, I decide I am going to spend the night watching that mountain for I felt if there was a downed triangle raft, eventually they needed to retrieve it and there was no way in hell I was going to miss that. It was now 3:00 am with no further action on the hill. Justin's mother came out of the house and said that she going up there. Justin tried to talk his mother out of going up the hill but she was so intrigued on what she witnessed that she had to find out what it was. Well, she was gone for about 45 min and she returned with no luck. There was no way to get to that location. Even though we all witnessed other vehicles on the hill, we have no idea where or how they got there. It is now 3:45 am and I am started to get sleepy so I get inside my truck where I have an extended cab and I dose off. I keep waking up and looking towards the hill but still nothing. Its around 5:45 am and the sun is starting to come up. It is now lighting up the side of the hill allowing me to visually see where I have been recording throughout the night. I can see a bunch of pine trees and what looks like a house. Then I noticed what looks like to me to be a gray or metallic object laying right in front of that house. You can see the sun reflect off the right side which is facing the east. I try to zoom on it but it is still very far away. It is really hard to make out the shape but for some reason, it starting to take the shape of a triangle or sting ray type of shape. At that time, I am extremely tired and my eyes could be playing tricks on me but I recorded that object. I decided to see if I could get up there to take a closer look so I drove with one of my associates from the Sanger Paranormal Society. She had just got there to bring me some food, shoes and socks. I ran out the door in my sandals. We could not find a way to get to that house. Finally, it's 12 noon and I am tired so we decide to call it a day. I have not been back to the location to see if that gray object is still there but hopefully I will get back there today. The 3 witnesses say they will give me statements as soon as they are back from the hospital with their new baby (Justin's wife gave birth). The video (below) in which you have was taken on Aug 22, 2010, the following day, Sunday night. It was taken in Clovis, California which is south of the crash site as the craft headed over Sanger. This video was shot by sky watchers who watch for the Sanger Paranormal Society. I am not saying it is the same craft but the witnesses said they look pretty damn close. I have those videos that I shot during that night in question that I am transferring to computer. Its taking me a little bit to transfer because the camera I used does not have a digital output (Firewire). NOTE: I asked Jeff to forward any new information as well as the video of the crash site when completed. It should be noted that this event occurred in proximity to the 'ANGB/Fresno "Deep Underground Military Base' located at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport. The facility is operated by The 144th Fighter Wing - Air National Guard Base (ANGB) and in direct oversight of the North American Aerospace Defense Command 'NORAD'. The UFO activity was seen over Fresno on 7/16/2010. Jeffrey states that he knows the videographer and that he feels this is some of the best video evidence he has ever seen. It felts like minutes but I know it was seconds because we really thought we were going to die! Here is the story: I am reporting this in sadness because of this event my dog died! My daughter went to get the dogs from outside to bring them in (she's 15) and she ran screaming "get out a plane is going to hit us" "run" and she was hysterical. Me my husband and my son and I went running downstairs and my husband went to the backdoor (running) to investigate because my daughter is very meek and quiet and never screams. The next thing I know my husband is yelling "run" "its gonna hit us" and he started praying to God that we lived and if not take us to Heaven and let it be quick. We ran straight out the door as fast as our legs would go. Myself and my son never heard or saw anything we were just running for dear life. My husband told us to stop behind the trees because he thought at any moment it would hit and we wouldnt get much father ( didnt atually even think we would make it out the front door) and we live in the country so its all mostly open space in front of us. When nothing happened after a few seconds he told us to keep running as I horrifyingly saw him turn back toward the house. We kept going hurrying down the road and as we went we were trying to call our dogs that had escaped with us. My husband returned in his truck to state the object simply was gone/vanished he had no idea where it went but it never hit our house or flew over us and not a single sound was heard. So we continued the search for our dogs however one was struck by a car and killed. Later when I spoke with my husband and daughter I was informed it had 2 bright lights and was up in the sky they could see the back neighbors house below it and it made no sound and teetered a little back and forth but the lights were always horizontal to each other. This object made no sound what so ever and my husband said he saw the silhouette and it was as big as our back pasture across and very dark. I am very saddened but wanted to report this because weird things have occurred before here that we never mentioned to people. Like for one instance our laser pointer lights (we would play with our dogs with) when we would point them in the field they would disappear at some points but would be seen all the way to the orchards at other points and we always laughed that it was like something invisible was sucking up the light at that spot. Im now truely scared and wanted this reported in the case something happens to us. Now it is time for me to grieve. I am afraid to sleep. I truly believe it must have landed in our pasture but everything appears normal. Something very wrong happened here tonight...please help!! Has anyone else ever experienced this? Here is the video link of the newscast, go ahead and use this so people can see when they compare to the actual MUFON report...also, they used a video in the news clip that had nothing to do with the report...Someone posted this on you tube which they recorded on the night of the sighting and they used it to make the news clip more exciting....that's not what this family saw that night..Here are 2 links to youtube. I recorded 2 unmarked vans sitting across the street of the house that reported the sighting the night before...These vans were parked out front the following morning....I was working that day ( AT&T Telephone) in that same area and as I was driving past the house I noticed the first van then a second one showed up...I parked 3 houses away in my van and started to record them...They both were wearing suits and this drew a flag because we are talking Saturday morning out in the country.... | Fortean / Oddball News - 8/30/2010 Posted: 30 Aug 2010 10:44 AM PDT  Odd Elongated Crater Found On Mars ESA - This crater, known as Orcus Patera, is a strange, elliptical crater located near Mars's equator. Roughly 240 miles long by 90 miles wide, its elongated shape doesn't fit with standard models of crater formation, leaving astronomers with a baffling mystery. Orcus Patera is located between two of Mars's biggest volcanoes, Elysium Mons and Olympus Mons (which is also the highest peak in the solar system). Beyond its immense length and width - it's not quite as long as the Grand Canyon, but five times as wide - it rises up over a mile above the surrounding area, and it reaches depths more than a third of a mile beneath the Martian surface. The term "patera" is used for irregular craters formed by volcanoes, with other famous examples including Mars's Hadriaca Patera and Tyrrhena Patera. But while Orcus Patera is definitely irregular, it probably wasn't formed by volcanic activity, and that's the mystery astronomers are still trying to solve. One possibility is that it started life as a regular, nearly circular crater created by meteorite impact. Over time, compressional forces brought on by shifting tectonic plates squeezed Orcus Patera into its modern shape. It's also possible that Orcus Patera was once two craters right next to each other, and erosion wore away the distinct region separating the two until only one weird crater remained. However, the most likely theory is that an object struck the crater at a remarkably shallow angle, probably less than 5 degrees from horizontal. This is known as oblique impact, and it would be able to dig out such an unusual-looking crater shape. Still, there's no conclusive evidence in favor of any of these theories, and so Orcus Patera remains a mystery to astronomers until the day comes we can get out there and take a look at it up close. **********  Giant Atlas Moths Hatch at Berkeley Castle Butterfly House dailymail - With their stunning colours and 12in wingspan they're not the sort of insect you could ignore. And now not just one but nine of the world's largest moths have hatched at a butterfly sanctuary in Gloucestershire. The giant Atlas moths emerged from their chrysalises at Berkeley Castle Butterfly House. Atlas moths are named after the intricate, colourful map-like patterns on their wings It is the first time the moths have successfully bred and hatched offspring in two years. The moths, which do not have fully-formed mouths and survive off fat they built up as caterpillars, only live for a maximum of two weeks. They are unsteady fliers and they do not stray far. Their sole purpose of life as a moth is to breed. Atlas moths are found in the tropical and subtropical forests of South-East Asia and are common across the Malay archipelago. ********** Yard Sale 'Battle for the Bargains' Yard sale etiquette apparently went out the window Friday in Sonora, CA after a 70-year-old man hit another man over the head with a cornbread pan while the two were trying to get access to the sale items. Jon Joslin, 70, was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. The victim, Joseph Brown, 64, suffered a head laceration but refused medical treatment at the scene, according to Sgt. Jeff Wilson, spokesman for the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Department. The hometowns of the two men were not immediately available. According to Wilson, Joslin arrived early at the yard sale on Via Este Road and was told he would not be allowed to buy anything until 8 a.m. because that was the advertised start time. Brown arrived a little later, at 7:45 a.m., and apparently the two talked about how other yard sales operated differently, Wilson said. At about 8 a.m., the two walked up a long driveway to the sale, with Brown walking ahead of Joslin. Wilson said Joslin didn't like this, and tried tripping Brown. Not knowing what was going on, Brown continued, and Joslin tried tripping Brown again, Wilson said. Now aware of what was happening, Brown told Joslin to stop and an argument ensued. Brown pushed Joslin, and Joslin — who had the five-pound, cast-iron pan in his hand — hit Brown over the head with it, Wilson said. Deputies arrived, and took Joslin into custody, Wilson said. They also fear that it would destabilize society to admit that advanced, space traveling human beings operate freely without any terrestrial control. But the Plejaren extraterrestrials emphasize that we, the people of Earth, are the biggest enemies to our own future survival...and they're trying to help us to avoid self-destruction." Horn feels that those who could have made a real difference failed to do so. "There's no shortage of so-called 'UFO experts', authors and others who've jumped on the UFO bandwagon despite not having any real extraterrestrial related evidence. And they avoid the Meier case for one simple reason - they can't make a profit from it. So they don't mention Meier's contacts in their media appearances, preventing people from benefiting from the information. Those who are most vocal about 'ending the UFO cover-up' are, ironically, most actively perpetuating it because, like the media, they see Meier as...bad for business." Ghost detector meters on the floor tell them if they need protection. "Is there anyone here with us?" paranormal investigator Sue Brimmer asks into the darkness. "Is there anyone trapped here?" "Can you come over and light those lights for us?" Brimmer asks. "Let us know you're here." In the dead quiet, medium Crystal Pavis speaks: "The spirit in the closet said stop, you're making him mad." The two are members of the East Coast Angels, a group of eight local people who believe they can use paranormal research to detect spirits and determine whether a house is haunted. Each investigation starts and ends with a prayer. Director Michael "Sal" Salerno of East Lyme says, "When you get into these situations you're entering into a spiritual battlefield." On a chilly Saturday night earlier this month, the East Coast Angels set up for an investigation at a house in rural Colchester. The house was built on farmland almost 10 years ago. When the homeowners, who asked to remain unidentified, put up the "for sale" sign about a year ago, they say they started noticing unusual things. Their 6-year-old child was talking to an imaginary friend whom she called Rosie. When the child began having full conversations with Rosie under her bed, it made the child's mother feel uneasy. "Ever since then, things got worse," she says. East Coast Angels investigators believe an inhuman spirit was masking itself as the child's friend, in order to gain trust with the family. They say it is common for this "type of evil spirit" to portray itself as a small child. The husband says he has seen black shadows over his bed, heard music coming from nowhere and was hearing loud bangs and stomping in the hallway to the master bedroom, always around 3 a.m. The family heard about East Coast Angels from a friend, which is how most cases start, through referrals. "It's so sad that we have a beautiful home and we don't feel comfortable in it," the wife says. "Watching it on television is one thing, but experiencing it is another," adds her husband. Salerno says most paranormal investigators get into the field because they've been haunted themselves. Things started differently for him. He says he had never encountered any ghosts before. He was brought up in the Episcopal church but says he didn't start as a "man of true faith" until about three and a half years ago, when he had an accident. He contracted Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and, he says, had a "close call with death." While recuperating he started watching the television show "A Haunting" on the Discovery Channel. "I said to my wife, 'That's what I'm supposed to be doing: helping people with hauntings,'" Salerno says. "I felt with my newfound faith that I could help make a difference in the lives of people experiencing paranormal activity." He started researching paranormal activity. He was accepted as an investigator in a local paranormal group, but first, he says, he needed to face his fear. On his way home one night from his full-time job as an electrician, he says, he stopped at a secluded cemetery around 11 p.m. and stayed there with his flashlight, audio recorder and video recorder. He said some prayers and conducted his own investigation. "I thought, if I'm not supposed to do this, God will let me know," Salerno says. "I realized that I wasn't afraid of the supernatural. I was more afraid of being attacked by an animal." Salerno hasn't studied in a seminary. He taught himself about religion online. He started East Coast Angels in 2009 with his friend Brimmer, who works as a Realtor in Niantic and lives in Salem. The other members of the team are people who have trained in paranormal research and Pavis, the medium. Pavis says she has been able to see ghosts since she was a little girl. Since first joining a paranormal group in 2003, she says, she has been able to strengthen her "gift" of being able to hear and sense a spiritual presence. East Coast Angels does not get paid by its clients, they say, although some provide donations the group uses for travel expenses or to buy new equipment. Salerno says the goal is not to get caught up with capturing audio or visual evidence of a spiritual existence. If the clients are "not comfortable when I leave, then I'm not done yet," he said. One of the group's goals is to conduct an investigation at the Norwich Hospital property. At 12:28 a.m., just before all the lights are turned off, Salerno gives last-minute instructions. "Don't go anywhere alone. Stay together," he says. "If anyone starts to feel sick, let us know. If anyone gets scared, calmly walk out of the house." Moving boxes piled up around the living room and on top of the kitchen counters conceal some of the infrared cameras and other devices set up to capture paranormal activity. The investigators break up into groups. With flashlights in hand they disperse to conduct electronic voice phenomenon sessions, which Brimmer says is like interviewing the spirits. Most of the ghost hunting tools are available in a hardware store or on the Internet. K-II meters can measure magnetic fields, and paranormal investigators believe they can pick up a spirit's electrical energy. They also use digital audio recorders and infrared cameras. Investigators take turns asking questions. They pause between questions in case the spirit responds, as indicated by the K-II meter flashing or audio being recorded. "It's very exciting when the thing lights up. It's like an adrenaline rush," Brimmer says. Standing in the master bedroom of the Colchester house with a small group, holding a wooden crucifix in one hand and holy water in the other, Salerno says a prayer to Saint Michael in Latin. He then asks God to bring the evil entity to the room. "In the name of Jesus Christ, give us a non-lethal, non-violent sign of your presence," Salerno says. After no response, Salerno asks differently. "In the name of Jesus Christ, what is your nature?" Pavis, the medium, reports that the spirit is in the hallway and it has turned into a dog. Salerno says that in the symbolism of demonology, a spirit that takes the form of a dog is a spirit of lust. He reaches down to his audio player and plays "Ave Maria" to get a reaction from the spirit. Pavis says the dog has turned into a man with horns and is covering its ears. After investigators bless the hallway with holy salt and water, Salerno says a prayer and asks God to remove the evil presence from the house. Salerno says the meter on the floor isn't flickering as much and the medium reports that the spirit has left. "I think tonight was very successful. Is it over? We don't know just yet," Salerno says. Days later, the homeowners say they are still experiencing unnatural phenomena. The East Coast Angels team goes back for a "sub-fumigation" of the house, which Salerno describes as a minor form of exorcism. The homeowners say it's been quiet ever since. "We're actually sleeping since then without the lights on," the wife says. "It's like the weight is off your shoulders and you feel like something is completed." The family says they were overwhelmed by Salerno and his team. "Satisfied is putting it lightly. We are just elated. They taught us a lot and brought us closer to the church. Turned things around for us," the wife says. The house is still up for sale. Click for video HISTORY OF THIS CASE Early August 2010 a family in Colchester, Ct was referred to the East Coast Angels. The family was concerned about unexplainable activity happening in their home. During the initial interview, some interesting and troubling claims were made by the homeowners. They stated that around a year ago they had put a "for sale" sign up in the front yard of their ten year old home. That night, in the hallway outside the door of the master bedroom, they heard what sounded like someone stomping their feet up and down the hallway, and they also heard some loud crashes from the living room area. When they went to check it out, nothing was out of place, and all seemed fine. This type of activity seemed to come and go a few times a month for a while. The family's six year old child started talking about playing with an imaginary friend, and started calling her "Rosie". Sometimes the child would hide under the bed, and talk with "Rosie". At first the parents didn't make much of this activity, and thought it was a normal thing for a child to have imaginary friends. So it was let go, but not forgotten. One night the spirit girl showed herself to the husband at around 3am. He claims that the spirit looked exactly like his child had described. The spirit disappeared when he tried to talk to it. Another night around 3 am the husband was hearing music coming from what he thought was his radio alarm, he unplugged it and the music continued to play on through his stand up fan, he then unplugged that, and the music stopped. He put the alarm clock and the fan in the garage, but when he returned to his bed, so did the music. Another night at the same time, 3 am, he was laying in bed, and something pulled him by the hand, so forcefully it actually caused him to sit up and fall forward, he then said he felt extremely frightened, and was paralyzed, he could see, and hear but could not move. His wife was able to help snap him out of his trance like state, but he remained alert and awake the rest of the night. With this activity surrounding the homeowner, it started effecting his work. He was not sleeping, and it seemed to worry his co-workers. Life seemed to be falling apart for the family. Finally, he told some of his co-workers about what had been going on, and was referred to the East Coast Angels. After the interview, Sal, conducted a house blessing, and referred the family to their clergy. An investigation was set up for August 14th, 2010. A representative from the church, also came and blessed the home, and counseled the family. The stomping noises settled down for a few days after the initial blessings, but picked up again about 3 days later. One night around 8pm, the homeowner went into the home's hot tub, and blacked out. He lost two hours of time, and was in the hot tub for 2 hours. He said that normally he stays in for about twenty minutes, and he would have to get out due to the heat. This time he said, when he got out of the tub, two hours had passed, his hands were all pruned up from sitting in the water so long, but otherwise felt fine, just confused about the time loss. Investigation Night: We were joined that night by Jeff Messenger from SPI, and a reporter, and photographer from the New London Day Newspaper. The investigation was interesting, and we captured lots of evidence. Once the evidence was compiled, a definite picture started to form about what was going on in the home. The evidence showed that an "inhuman" malevolent entity was oppressing the family. It had targeted the husband for it's attacks, and had future plans for the child. The details are more of a private matter for the family. Cleansing Night: On Tuesday August 24th, 2010 a sub-fumigation, a minor form of exorcism was performed in the home. The ceremony was successful, and medium Crystal Pavis confirmed that the entity had been removed from the home, and family's life. The family is now living a normal life, and are no longer experiencing paranormal activity in the home.
