The Phantom Black Hounds of England Still Roam

express - The fiery red eyes and the blood-curdling howls of ghostly Black Dogs have long haunted the pages of British literature.

From Arthur Conan Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles to the sinister Padfoot in the tales of Harry Potter, time and again nailbiting stories have been woven around the legend of mythical huge dogs.

Whether such tales are just fiction is now open to doubt.

In recent years reports have continued to emerge of wolf-like Black Dogs seen roaming the country. Now zoologists and experts in the paranormal are calling for a probe to prove their existence.

Richard Freeman, zoological director at the Centre for Fortean Zoology in Bideford, Devon, said Black Dogs have been reported in Britain, across Europe and in South America. He said: "I would welcome support for a thorough investigation into their existence.

"If one could be captured on film or filmed with a thermal camera it might give us a clue to the nature of these creatures." A report in this month's Countryfile magazine details the legend of more than a dozen Black Dogs with such wild names as the Yell Hound of Devon, the Lean Dog of Tring, the Padfoot of Wakefield, the Gurt Dog of the Quantocks, Mauthe Dhoog of the Isle of Man and the Gwyligi of Wales.

Dr Simon Sherwood, senior lecturer in psychology, director of the Centre for the Study of Anomalous Psychological Processes at the University of Northampton, said: "Sightings of Black Dogs are certainly not just legendary accounts from hundreds of years ago. I still receive accounts from people who have been looking for information about similar sightings and have come across my website.

"I have probably collected about 50 or 60 accounts from around the world over the past 10 years or so and some of these are recent sightings."

Sightings of the Black Hound have been reported all over England since the early 1500's up until the present day. The Black Hound is often described as an abnormally large jet black dog the size of a cow or a bear, with large claws, fangs, matted or shaggy fur and glowing red eyes.

Many believe the Black Hound to be a beast, however as folklore goes the Black Hound is believed to be a phantom or ghost dog. The Black Hound is mostly a nocturnal apparition, often said to be associated with the Devil. Most common sightings of the Black Hound are at points that act like boundaries such as gates, fences, hedges, bridges, roads, paths and many sightings at graveyards and burial grounds.

Folklore claims that the Black Hounds travel leylines, these are essentially paths that the spirits are said to travel. In old folklore the leylines are said to connect graveyards and lead to the spirit world. The Black Hound is seen as an omen of death.

There are lots of stories about Black Hounds terrorising villages and attacking travellers, not many of which report sounds from the beast that are out of the ordinary, however some have reported a terrifying howl and even that the hound was maniacally laughing.

Accounts of the Black Hounds attacking aren't uncommon. Suffolk, UK 1577, one Sunday it is claimed a Black Hound made its way into a church, two men who were touched by the beast fell down dead and a third man seemed to have died from severe burns.

Another account tells also of a Black Hound entering a town hall and physically killing two men before escaping.

Even now there are common sightings of the Black Hound. In 2003 a teenager reported seeing a Black Hound when on his way home around midnight, apparently the hound was seen lurking around the bottom of a tree next to a hedge (boundary) and was described as a large Black Hound with matted fur just a little smaller than a cow.

Other phantom dogs are more benevolent and stories exist of people being helped from tight spots. For example Augustus Hare in his book 'In My Solitary Life' recounts a common tale he heard about a man called Johnnie Greenwood, of Swancliffe. Johnnie had to ride through a wood in darkness for a mile to get to where he was going. At the entrance of the wood he was joined by a black dog, it pattered beside him until he emerged from the trees, whereupon it disappeared as quickly as it had arrived.

On his return journey through the wood, the dog joined him again on the dark woodland path, and disappeared mysteriously when he emerged. Apparently, some years later, two prisoners condemned to death confessed that they had decided to rob and murder Johnny that night in the wood, but the presence of the large black dog had stopped them.

Black dogs are also seen as guardians of treasure, especially in Scotland. A black dog was said to guard treasure buried under a standing stone near Murthley in Perthshire, here we have an account of a black dog at an ancient site and as a guardian of treasure.

In summery it seems that the phenomena of phantom dogs is a complex mix of folklore, sightings, and local superstition, which has roots reaching far into the past. There are probably a myriad of different explanations for modern sightings, and a phantom black dog is a powerful archetype, incorporated into modern stories such as the 'Hound of the Baskervilles' by Arthur Conan Doyle. We hope to delve into the mystery further in the future, including some of the many folk tales associated with them.

Further Comments: A large black dog ran in front of two women travelling to Leeming Bar by car. The driver closed her eyes and braked hard, expecting to hit the creature. The passenger watched the hound pass through the bonnet, and noticed the creature had no facial features, floppy ears, and was shadow-like. A man that the women spoke to once they reached their destination later killed himself - was the hound a portent?

Red Eyed Dog
Location: Ailsworth (Northamptonshire) - General area

Further Comments: This huge hound possesses eyes that burn as bright as the sun, making the creature easy to spot if he tries to sneak up on you.

Running Hound
Location: Alfriston (Sussex) - Between the Downs and Town Fields
Type: Shuck
Date / Time: Full Moon (reoccurring)
Further Comments: A large black dog is said to run from the Downs to Town Fields - here it stares over a flint wall before retreating the way it came.

White Dog
Location: Alfriston (Sussex) - The White Way, road leading from the town towards Seaford
Type: Shuck

Further Comments: This creature is reportedly the dog of a young man murdered while out walking during the 1700s - because the pitiful hound sat by the victim's shallow grave, the criminals killed it also. The haunting is said to have ceased after the bodies of dog and owner were discovered when the road was widened.

Long Necked Dog
Location: Algarkirk (Lincolnshire) - Area around the village church
Type: Shuck
Date / Time: Twentieth century?
Further Comments: This black dog was described by a witness as being tall and lean, with a long neck and a protruding muzzle. The hound is not regarded here as an ill omen.

Dog in Trees
Location: Algarkirk (Lincolnshire) - Church

Further Comments: This large black hound was seen between three trees that grow close to the religious house.

Hound
Location: Allington (Wiltshire) - Area between village and All Cannings
Type: Shuck
Date / Time: Early twentieth century
Further Comments: The story of the black dog was used to frighten children in this area. One man may have been chased by the creature (though it was dark and stated it might have been a pony), while another couple who spotted the hound said it stood almost as tall as their pony.

Grey Greyhound
Location: Alphamstone (Essex) - Sycamore Farm
Type: Shuck
Date / Time: One night during the late '40s.
Further Comments: After seeing a creature in his chicken coop, a farmer fired a shotgun at the creature - it ran through the wire netting and escaped. Examining the scene in the morning, the farmer could find no holes in the netting or footprints of the dog.

Black Dog
Location: Alveston (Warwickshire) - Exact location not known
Type: Shuck
Date / Time: Late Nineteenth Century
Further Comments: Charles Walton (the same man who was murdered in Lower Quinton (see Quinton database entry for further information)) claimed to have seen a phantom black dog for several successive nights when he was younger - on the last night, instead of the dog, he saw a ghostly headless woman. He soon heard that his sister had died at roughly the same time as the last sighting.

Barguest

Further Comments: Possessing glowing red eyes and a yellow tint to its fur, the dog-like barguest is a harbinger of doom.

Shaggy Dog
Location: Ascot (Berkshire) - Old Huntsman's House

Further Comments: It has been reported that this house is haunted by a sheepdog-looking entity, which has also been heard barking. A man in a red coat was also said once to haunt the site.

Black Dog
Location: Ayr (Ayrshire) - Wooded areas

Further Comments: Mistakenly blamed for killing a child, it was later discovered that the dog had tried to defend the infant from a wolf (a la Gelert). However, this hound was less forgiving for its former master's murderous action and now runs around the dense woodland.

Webbed Footed Hound

Further Comments: A large dog with eyes the size of saucers once haunted this area.

Monkey-faced Shuck
Location: Balsham (Cambridgeshire) - Wratting Road

Further Comments: For reasons unknown, the shuck which has been observed in this area is believed to have a bald head and wide eyes, similar to that of a monkey, while the body is that of a large black shaggy dog. It leaps out in front of cars travelling along this road, only to dart out of the way at the last possible second, either on all four legs or standing upright.

Black Collie
Location: Barberbooth (Derbyshire) - General area

Further Comments: This phantom dog stands as tall as a very large collie, and is said to belong to the fairies.

Rough Coated Dog with Large Yellow Eyes
Location: Barham (Suffolk) - Along the main Norwich Road, Barham Church Lane, just past Barham Hall gates.

Date / Time: 1910s?
Further Comments: The dog harassed a couple of men walking back from work - one of them reported trying to hit the creature with a stick, but the piece of wood passed straight through the dog's body. Another version of the story states the dog disappears into a solid wall.

Shuck Haunt
Location: Barnby (Suffolk) - Bridge over Hundred Stream

Further Comments: Legend states the stream to be the haunt of a Shuck, though no further information could be found.

Chained Hound
Location: Batcombe (Somerset) - Gold Hill

Further Comments: Buried in nearby woodland by an owner, this phantom hound is now reputed to roam the area, a large chain around its neck.

White Dog
Location: Beccles (Suffolk) - Cemetery

Further Comments: A woman passing through the cemetery watched a large white dog as it faded away in front of her.

Red Eyed Hound
Location: Beckingham (Nottinghamshire) - Old Trent Road
Type: Shuck

Further Comments: This large black dog with glowing eyes is said to have driven a local farmer mad after the man tried to block the creature's path. The farmer was also left almost completely paralysed. The hound is said to walk from the churchyard to nearby marshland before fading from view.

Capelthwaite
Location: Beetham (Cumbria) - General area near the river Bela

Further Comments: Also known as a Cappel, this spirit is said to be able to transform into any four legged creature, though it prefers the form of a dog. A local vicar is said to have banished it into the river Bela.

MUFON CMS - Wisconsin Dells, WI: It's an old story of mine. Happened to me when I was working for summer as student in Wisconsin Dell, WI area in Summer of 2003. Event happened in early calendar summer at night (around midnight) on some night of probably late July or maybe early August. Night was kind of bright thanks to a bright full moon.

At late night (probably before midnight) I wanted to get some fresh air and decided to have a lonely ride in my car. I took my car from home (we were living between Lake Delton and Wisconsin Dells) and traveled at night through Broadway (in Wisconsin Dells), then leaving Wisconsin Dells downtown area behind and taking right turn on some highway (from google maps I think it was Route 16).

I have traveled a couple miles East and then pulled over to small local dirt road (on left) ending in the middle of a corn field. I stopped the car, shut engine off and enjoyed the beautiful view of the bright full moon in front and above me while sitting in car (kind of in the middle of corn field it was). I kept my windows rolled down and enjoyed the warm summer breeze.

I smoked a cigarette and at some point I noticed something odd. The sky got a little brighter than it was before, for some reason I started having a very strong urge to leave this place quickly, started looking around (nobody around, only seen maybe one or two cars passed on highway far behind me) and I noticed it got dead silent in this place.

Then I noticed it. it was the moon!!! and actually it couldn't be the moon, because it was located now in a different spot on the dark sky, I also believe it appeared bigger to me than a while ago (couple minutes it takes to smoke a cig). not really knowing why it scared the hell out of me. Immediately started the car and backed out of that corn field to highway shoulder and rammed on the gas pedal, I remember looking in the rear view mirror and seeing the "moon" now behind me while it was supposed to be on my right! geeeez ... accelerated like crazy and as fast as I could I started traveling back in Wisconsin Dells downtown direction. For a few minutes I was having this very very scary feeling that the "moon" was chasing me (maybe it was only trying to scaring me off who knows)... it all lasted maybe 10 minutes. Once I left the Route 16 the feeling went away, everything returned to normal. Moon was were it was supposed to be and there was nothing scary anymore.

I will remember that feeling for a very long time.

NOTE: First time I heard of being chased by the moon...though, some people are supposedly affected by the moon and it's gravitational interaction with the Earth's own gravitational pull as well as changing distance between the orbital bodies (ex. ocean tides). Argentinean ufologists have disclosed the presence of unidentified flying objects over the Atucha Nuclear Power Station in Zárate. New methods shall be developed to obtain further details.

Mysterious phenomena, considered by researchers to reflect the presence of intelligent, major anomalies over the Atucha Nuclear Power Station, have stirred the interest of fans of such events.

A report in Diario Popular reports on the existence of UFOs over Zarate, and the increase in such activity. Cristian Soldano, a field researchers, maintains that the area has become "a place for constant phenomena" in which pulsating UFOs (also known as "flash" UFOs) are known to have a significant presence.

Researchers are hoping to develop new methods to obtain further details on the objects buzzing Atucha.

Fraud and Witchcraft Haunt Miami Condo Community

miaminewtimes - There are lots of condo association spats and scams in the tiny, scandal-ridden hamlet of North Bay Village. Most of them are pretty boring. That's because most of them don't involve a wrathful warlock.

A group of condo owners at South Treasure Drive's North Bay Villas want their property manager, Fernando Laracuente, fired. "He has utilized [condo] association resources for his personal gain, and he refuses to give up," resident Andrea Gomez says.

Their accusations: That he collected $7,000 to repair the building's cooling tower, but it doesn't have a cooling tower. That he illegally charged tenants $500 to own dogs. That he's been pocketing laundry-room repair funds, has the building three months in arrears to the pool maintenance company, and that all of that cash and more went to his October 2009 purchase of a $363,000, three-bedroom Kendall house. In June, cops investigated and arrested the 36-year-old, who also goes by Ferdinand Resto, for notary fraud, saying he falsely doctored his employment contract.

Laracuente's lawyer, David Edelstein, says there's "no basis" for any of the allegations, claiming the arresting officer is friends with Laracuente's condo nemeses: "This is one of those condo-commando white-hot disagreements between factions of a condo association, but what's disturbing is the involvement of public officials."

The situation got stranger last week when tenants found a flyer posted on every door and littering the parking lot, declaring Laracuente's enemies were "annoying bitches" and continued, "All they know how to do is create chaos. Oh, daughters of Lucifer, that ye have been born... only for procreation purposes and to favor evil. We damn our luck for these people joining our community."

Plastered in the middle of the flyer was clip art of a witch's head. Laracuente is listed online as a wicca-practicing board director of the Association of Independent Pagans. And the missive was signed only by the North Bay Villas Condominium Association, of which he is a member.

"Laracuente is truly deranged and needs to be committed," says Adriana Caraballo, a tenant named in the flyer.

Meanwhile, there has been "no maintenance, no cleaning, [and] no garbage collection" since the mystic shit hit the fan, says North Bay Village Vice Mayor Reinaldo Trujillo. "It's a mess. If this situation isn't irregular, I don't know the definition of the word."

A melon rated the sweetest in the world has been sold for a mouth-watering £38,000 at auction.

Chinese businessman Yu Lin, 47, bid the astronomical price for the single piece of fruit at an annual melon festival in Turpan, Xinjiang, China.

Experts there gave it an official seal as the world's sweetest.

Honeydew melons like this have a sugar content of 20.2g per 100g of fruit.

The award-winning melon was selected for its sweetness, colour and form.

And that is a sweet success story for Chinese farmer Lu Tan, who normally earns just over £300 a month.

He said: "I will not be giving up my farm — but I plan to buy more land and next year have an even bigger and better melon to sell."

Meanwhile, a bath has gone on sale at Harrod's — with a £530,000 price tag.

The carved rock crystal tub is made from a slab of rare natural material excavated from the Amazon.

It has been created for a company called Baldini by designer Luca Bojola.

Zimbabweans Literally 'Launder' Dirty U.S. Greenbacks

AP - The washing machine cycle takes about 45 minutes — and George Washington comes out much cleaner in the Zimbabwe-style laundering of dirty money.

Low-denomination U.S bank notes change hands until they fall apart here in Africa, and the bills are routinely carried in underwear and shoes through crime-ridden slums.

Some have become almost too smelly to handle, so Zimbabweans have taken to putting their $1 bills through the spin cycle and hanging them up to dry with clothes pins alongside sheets and items of clothing.

It's the best solution — apart from rubber gloves or disinfectant wipes — in a continent where the U.S. dollar has long been the currency of choice and where the lifespan of a dollar far exceeds what the U.S. Federal Reserve intends.

Zimbabwe's coalition government officially declared the U.S. dollar legal tender last year to eradicate world record inflation of billions of percent in the local Zimbabwe dollar as the economy collapsed.

The U.S. Federal Reserve destroys about 7,000 tons of worn-out money every year. It says the average $1 bill circulates in the United States for about 20 months — nowhere near its African life span of many years.

Larger denominations coming in through banks and formal import and export trade are less soiled.

But among Africa's poor, the $1, $2, $5 and $10 bills are the most sought after. Dirty $1 bills can remain in circulation at rural markets, bus parks and beer halls almost indefinitely, or at least until they finally disintegrate.

Still, banks and most businesses in Zimbabwe do not accept torn, Scotch-taped, scorched, defaced, exceptionally dirty or otherwise damaged U.S. notes.

Zimbabweans say the U.S. notes do best with gentle hand-washing in warm water. But at a laundry and dry cleaner in eastern Harare, a machine cycle does little harm either to the cotton-weave type of paper. Locals say chemical "dry cleaning" is not recommended — it fades the color of the famed greenback.

Laundry worker Alex Mupondi said customers asked him to try machine-washing a selection of bills and the result impressed him.

But storekeeper Jackie Dube hasn't yet taken up advice of friends to cleanse the often damp and stinking U.S. dollars she receives for the garments and cheap Chinese consumer goods she sells in Harare. It's time-consuming, she says, adding that stinky, unhygienic bills are a problem.

"I get rid of the worst of the notes as soon as I can in change," she said.

14 month old Kangkang, from China's Hunan province, is being called the "mask face" baby. Kangkang, was born with a congenital deformity called transverse facial cleft, which gives him the appearance of having two faces or a mask over his face. Doctors in China say they have never seen a case like this and are unsure how well surgical restoration will work for Kangkang.

Way Past Normal - by Dani Harper - You've met them. People in your life who, frankly, exhaust you. They drop by to visit and when they leave, all your energy has gone with them. You might even feel depressed. This might be because they're self-centered attention whores, unrelentingly negative and chronic blamers, or they work for the IRS.

Or it might be because they're vampires.

Thanks to myth and media, we associate the undead with drinking blood to sustain themselves. But what if vamps are living, mortal humans who don't suck blood but energy? The concept isn't new. Many cultures have myths and legends about psychic vampires, including some Native American tribes. The Hopi told of the powaqa, a sorcerer who feeds on the life force, the hiksi.

I ran across an internet quiz this week titled "Are you a psychic vampire?" Apparently, you can be one without even being conscious of it – and you're considered more of a parasite in this instance. More drama queen than Queen of the Damned. Needy and annoying but usually manageable.

Other individuals are fairly benign. They merely touch something after someone else has touched it, gleaning the leftover energy.

But the real vampire is the one who knows exactly what he's doing and attacks your energy on purpose, literally fortifying himself with your life force. It's a highly aggressive and predatory act and just the thought of it puts me on edge – hey, I need all my energy and I can only drink so much coffee in a day, bud! Apparently if you suddenly feel tired, mentally confused or irritable it might not be because you skipped lunch. You may have been the victim of a walk-by vampire attack. He or she gets an energy surge and you're left staggering to the nearest Starbucks.

Highly sensitive persons are particularly susceptible to having their energy siphoned off. So are those who tend to be givers in the extreme, who haven't developed good personal boundaries. Apparently you can be a metaphysical doormat too. And if you have what's called a leaky aura, energy vamps will hone in on you like ants to a drippy syrup bottle.

As with traditional vampires, repeated attacks by a psychic predator can put you in danger of becoming like them. Maybe you won't actively go on the hunt at the mall, but if your life force is in a depleted state, you might unconsciously start drawing energy from friends and family.

Defending yourself takes many forms. Some recommend visualization, picturing a bright white light or perhaps a suit of armor around yourself to block out a known vampire's attempts. Some say that the equivalent of wearing garlic is keeping a piece of quartz crystal on your person. Watch out for people who step into your personal space, or stare at you (so much for ever riding a subway again). Most importantly, look after your health, mentally, emotionally and physically – remember, lions go after the gimpy gazelles.

Chris Holly's Paranormal World - The abductee I first interviewed who gave me the idea to join together a group of real time abductees was a very special woman. After spending time with her I realized the importance of trying to pull together a united group of real time abductees for the purpose of sharing experiences in order to see if a common thread could be found in those being taken.

This woman agreed to be part of the real time abductee group. Real time abductions are those that take place when the abductees are fully awake and alert going about the routine of their typical day when they are suddenly without consent taken for what is known as lost time events.

Luckily the four abductees I have been writing about were returned after each abduction. I have written about the group so far with articles about the male abductee as well as one of the females who have had lifelong abduction experiences. In this article I will talk about another member of the four abductees a woman who is by far the most interesting abductee I have spent time with.

This woman lives on Long Island. She is a very private person and lives her life as a hermit closed off to all but family and a few select friends. She lives in a highly protected environment in a secure home with family members who defend and protect this woman with determination and love. She is a very unusual person who has had a life time of interference by whatever has been abducting her for nearly her entire life.

This woman is by far the most unusual in appearance of the group of abductees in my interview group.

Her eyes are very large . They are a clear bright blue . I noticed whenever the sun would streak into a room and reach her face she would shield her eyes, blink and move away from the direct light. She has very dark circles under her eyes and very pale skin. I questioned her about her discomfort with the sun and her eyes and she replied, " The sun is blinding to me, I cannot see at all in strong sunlight."

Her arms and legs are covered in areas by large bandages. The areas of her legs and arms that were uncovered were covered with what looked like white scars of different lengths and shapes. She was chubby but ageless. I could not tell if she was 40–50 or 60. She looks to be a middle-aged woman but does not have any wrinkles or the appearance of an older woman. I honestly could not judge her age at all. She has light hair, which is very fine and pale. Not a brown or a blond. Her hair is sort of light without a definite shade, very fine worn mid length.

When with this woman she quickly takes control of the conversation. It is apparent to all she does not take part in small talk as she quickly gets to the point . She suggested I take notes as she was not going to be able to talk that long and did not want to repeat herself. I got out my notebook and listened when she talked.

She told me that odd activity started for her about age 5 or 6. She recalls strange people being around her and being taken away from home often as a child but was never sure where she was or what was happening to her during those events. She would have these encounters at all different times. She may be out playing in her yard or in her room playing with her toys. She would wake up in the middle of the night terrified but had no idea at age 6 exactly what was happening to her.

By the time she was a teen this woman realized she was different from other kids. She was much smarter than the average kids her age and was developing psychic abilities that were very strong and very frightening to her. She could look at someone she did not know and understand immediately things about them. She would know their names, where they lived, what they were thinking and most of all if they were a good or bad person. She could tell her friends what was going to happen to them weeks before the events occurred. Her differences were separating her from friends and family and she was becoming withdrawn and odder by the day.

During her time growing up this woman would have continuous episodes of going about her normal life with lost time events lacing through her years. She would know when they were about to occur as she would become suddenly dizzy and within seconds find she was surrounded by a strong ray of blinding light. The next thing is knew she would find herself slumped over on the ground in a place she did not know alone, ill and frightened. She quickly learned how to pull herself together so she could figure out where she was and how she could return home. She would hide money in her shoes in hopes it would still be there when she was returned from these horrid experiences so she would be able to call for help or do what she needed to do to return to her home. Her life was a hell.

The missing time and fogged over encounters continued and the changes in her increased.

About age 25 she could no longer stand to be outside in the sun for very long as normal rays of sunlight were becoming blinding and painful to her eyes. She also was beginning to read two or three books a day with lightning speed. Her need to consume all she could learn was becoming an over powering need she could not control.

This also was the time she started to feel ill often and have unexplained times of bleeding and pain in her uterus that she could not understand. Sometimes she would not have any normal monthly cycles at all and other times wake up from one of the encounters with terrible pain and extreme bleeding.

She had become a hermit by this time only seeing her family and a handful of friends. The strangeness of her life kept her away from others as she suffered more and more oddities with each passing year.

About age 30 she started to return from her abductions with strange burn like rashes across her arms , legs, back and groin area. They were painful and would last for months at a time.

She was developing a hatred of most food claiming it all tasted awful and had a limited diet that existed of only a few bland items that she could manage to keep down or desire.

About this time she decided to see a doctor about her rashes and belly pain as she was finding it harder and harder to deal with it all. Her doctor sent her to specialists who looked at her rash/ burns. They came up empty to what they thought it was and chalked it up to her making them appear by way of stress. They told her nicely that she was causing the skin to do this with her mind.

After being examined for her problems with her natural cycles she was questioned to how many pregnancies she had. When she told them none they snarled that they could not help her if she would not be honest with them. Feeling defeated she simply listened and said little in response. The doctors insisted she had carried more than one baby. She knew she never had a child.

This woman's life had been a hell with only her family and a few friends understanding the horror of what was happening to her. She found the rest of the world to be cruel and heartless to her circumstance.

As she aged the abductions decreased. Now entering her senior years she was left alone and free from the visits that tortured her throughout her entire life.

She can only stand to be out in the day light for a few minutes at a time. She needs to wear very dark sunglasses and drive with tinted windows in her car. She spends most of her time indoors during the day.

She has a quick mind and can recall almost all she has read during her lifetime. She has strong psychic powers that she will only use to help those she knows and cares for. Besides that she keeps what she knows to herself. She suffers from her skin problems, which come and go without reason or explanation. She never married and never had children- that she knows of.

This woman is without question the most curious person I ever interviewed. She is obviously a human but also seems altered in ways by the interference of her abductors. She is not like other humans yet she is. She seems to be tampered with making her more advanced in many ways and weaker in others.

Mentally she is far advanced. Physically she struggles with living on earth in her human body. She is an impatient woman who talks quickly and expects those around her to keep up with her speed of thought and speaking. She seems void of humor and simply titled her head looking at me oddly when I attempted to include a joke or two into our quick paced serious conversation. She seemed far more entertained by my attempts to be funny or silly then the humor of what I was saying.

Her eyes are large and blue. When she looks at you it is with a straight intense dead on stare right into your own eyes that makes you alert and uncomfortable. I felt like I was being given the most important test of my life and if I failed I was going to be booted off the earth. I stopped trying to interact and just sat and took furious notes as she told me what she wanted to tell me. She talked and I wrote.

When the four abductees sat together in conversation she kept the conversation on topics she wanted discussed. She had no tolerance for small talk or joy in sharing a dinner or snack with the group. The only thing she showed interest in was a bowl of coffee ice cream which she devoured so quickly my head hurt in anticipation of the ice cream freeze head pain she must have endured. Instead she asked for another huge bowl.

As our time together progressed I was able to question her on the things I wanted to know concerning her encounters. I asked her who did she thought had been taking her – and what did she think they wanted from her?

Without hesitation she replied: " This may surprise you but I think humans may be involved in my abductions. I think they may be working with aliens or are some odd group of humans from the past or a species of humans that evolved past us who are part of who or what is taking me." I simply looked at her stupidly as she continued," I use to think aliens from another planet were the ones taking me but I changed my mind along the way and think some kind of human has a hand in it also.

I think that somehow someway humans populated this planet or another planet very much like this one who suffered a huge catastrophe that wiped most of them out. I think they may be living inside the earth or maybe on the moon or in the moon. I think they are millions of years older than the humans walking and living on this earth now and far advanced. I also think that physically they have weakened or changed to the point they cannot live on the earth as it is now.

I think they may be the ones who come and take people like me. I think they are trying to mate with us to return their bodies to those that can live a life on earth. Or they are trying to breed with the humans of today for some reason.

I think that what they do changes people like me into something closer to what they are rather than returning them more like we are. My body changes and mind skills are a result of these things. Do not get me wrong – they could easily be aliens from other worlds. I just feel that they seem human to me when I can recall small parts of my encounters with them."

She told me that she fears for the world and the people on it. She does not think the creatures who have been taking her and experimenting on her are here for us or to help or better the human race. She feels those who have taken her are strictly here for their own benefit. She does not feel fear from them as much as she does concern for us at this point in her life.

This woman feels we are very backward in our knowledge of the universe and extremely dense when it comes to all things paranormal. She understands we are no match for any being who can take us against our will, wipe out our memory, experiment on us and throw us back into the human pool whenever they please. She feels we are no match for those who spend time here on earth with us. How can we consider interacting with beings who travel around us when we are not even capable of seeing the forest for the trees. They are here right in front of our noses and we do not even detect or know it. The differences in their abilities and ours are about the same as a mouse and our best science minds.

This woman has harsh words for those who make false claims as well as those who are complete skeptics. She feels it best to let the world live as it is in total ignorance. She feels we could all solve the problems on this earth if we wanted to. She feels as a mass we just do not wish to. Her wish is to simply stand back and watch as the universe teaches us all the facts of life. She does not feel we will all make it to understanding them or living through some of the lessons as we still remain far too primitive to comprehend or interact with our cosmic neighbors.

This woman is a serious, interesting, brilliant person who is unlike anyone else on this earth I have ever known.

I will be writing more about her thoughts , opinions and warnings once I complete my article about the last abductee of the real time abduction group.

I have been receiving emails concerning my time and articles with this abduction group. Many people are interested in hearing more about this group which I will be addressing in future articles.

Other emails however are mean spirited and confused. It seems that reading about the people I have written about does not fit in with the run of the mill Hollywood, Star Wars presentation of many standard abduction reports. What I am writing is what I am being told by those I truly believe have had lost time abduction events happen to them. I do not color it to dazzle my readers or bring scary entertainment to those who want the fantasy and not the reality concerning this subject.

I think it is time for the world to try to look at this subject without the Hollywood flair and try to understand the real and hard truth of what may be going on out there to many people who have been and still are being taken.

I do not repeat the typical dialogue of most reports as they are not the reports I am hearing. I am writing about what those I talk to who are willing to discuss concerning what has happened to them.

For those who are interested in a aspect of this without the science fiction coloring my articles will be continue to be of interest concerning this group. To those who wish to stay in the darkness of the paranormal colored by fantasy and agendas that really do not include those I write about I suggest you continue with following that which makes you happy and leave those who are trying to push forward with a hope of figuring out this subject to do so without your mean spirited attacks.

If this subject is ever going to be understood we have to stop fighting each other and start taking these subjects seriously. I understand this subject matter can be a wonderful hobby or a place where you meet fun friends for a great laugh. You must understand others are being taken , harmed and truly need and want to know what really is going on out there. Unless this division is dealt with the subject of abduction , aliens and UFO's will continue to be a joke for most and a devastation for others.

I will continue writing about this group as it is told to me. I will not write to fit in with the norm or to appease those who are upset about what I have to say.

I do hope you will all continue to pay attention to your surroundings and always keep looking up!
