Humanoid / Cryptid Encounter Reports 14 Posted: 02 Apr 2010 02:33 PM PDT The following are previous humanoid / cryptid encounter reports received by various agencies worldwide: THE NJUZU Location/Date: Charmwood, Zimbabwe - January 2000 - late evening Marko Batau was walking from Chawarura Shopping Center and as he approached the Hunyani River, he saw what appeared to be a white woman basking in the sun and sitting on a rock, half immersed in a pool of water. The woman was naked and Marko was surprised at this. Then he noticed that what he initially thought to be her leg, drawn up on the rock, was actually a scaled fish tail. The woman did not notice him at first, until he deliberately made a noise while walking on the gravel to get closer, and in an instant she disappeared into the water. A few days later, his curiosity aroused, Marko took the same route home. To his amazement, the woman was there, basking on the rock again. But not only that, this time there was laundry laid out on some stones to dry, with some draped over the bushes nearby. Unfortunately, in his astonishment and perhaps some fear, he did not see what type of washing it was, whether clothing or merely pieces of cloth. Again Marko drew nearer to get a closer view. Suddenly, the woman became aware of him and looked at him as though admonishing him. The next thing, she had disappeared in the water. The following week, Marko deliberately took this rather isolated shortcut home. Immediately when he reached the pool on the river, he saw the same creature there. Only this time, she was holding a baby in her arms and giving it a bath. Still puzzled by what he was seeing, Marko tried to draw closer to verify what he was seeing, but the moment the woman heard his footsteps on the gravel, she and the baby disappeared into the water together. A young boy, from a Zimbabwe settler family, had a similar experience in the early 1900's. Johane Masowe, founder of the Gospel of God Church in Zimbabwe, maintained he had encountered one of the creatures as well. Njuzu are considered in native folklore to be excellent healers...Lon ______________________ THE KANGAROO-LIKE 'THING' Location/Date: Baquedano, Chile - June 2000 - late night Upon hearing the frenetic barking of his dogs, security guard Luis Alberto Calivar armed himself with a flashlight and a knife and went outside to investigate. Soon his lights illuminated a dark greenish form that ran very quickly, climbing up a Wasintonia palm. As he shone the flashlight at the figure he felt his arm become "cold" and the knife and watch dropped out of his hand. At the same time, the dogs stood very quiet and still. A feeling of numbness overcame his body and he ran back inside his security shack. He was followed by the dogs that hid under the room and began to shake in fear. He could only describe the creature as having large flopping ears, fluid-like in nature, as if it was without a solid bone structure. It gave the appearance of being a flexible mass that moved around 'like a kangaroo' (?). It moved silently and was about 1.30m in height. When he first spotted the creature it seemed to have been crouching down, behind a bush. It seemed to twist its body around and never looked straight at the witness. Incredibly, despite the reactions, the witness felt no fear and did not notice any odors coming from the creature. The encounter lasted about 5 minutes and the creature was about 9 meters away from the witness. He further described the creature as having greenish hairs about 5 to 6cm in length. Soon after the encounter, Calivar had too see a doctor and lost about 20 pounds of body weight. Source: La Verdad Oculta _________________________ ANOTHER KANGAROO-LIKE CREATURE Location/Date: Evington, Virginia - 1997 - night On a dark moonless night, Kyle Keatts was wandering about in the woods near his home when something caught his eye near the chicken coop, which was near a barbed wired fence. Beyond that, for several miles, were some cows and other farm animals. He remembered seeing two red eyes that stuck out from out of the darkness near the ground. He approached it in order to obtain a better look. He remembered looking at the protruding, oval-shaped eyes, which appeared to have a black slit through them, like a cat's eyes. It looked back at Keatts and he perceived a sense of danger. He became frightened and ran towards his house yelling for his father to come out. His father ran out and saw what appeared to be a 3-4 foot tall animal running upright on its legs. The legs looked like that of a kangaroo, but it did not hop...it just ran very fast. In the light of the light pole they saw that the creature was black with scaly-looking skin with what looked like spikes running down its back. A neighbor had reported that an unknown predator had slaughtered 10-15 of her chickens. The area sits just east of the Blue Ridge Mountains...Lon ______________________ THE SECOND VISIT Location/Date: Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada - January 2001 - daytime Two peculiar strangers visited the witness, who had a previous visit after a UFO encounter. These two visitors were different from the others. They were at least six-feet tall, very bony, with head, hands and feet out of proportion to the rest of the body. They wore gray suits that seemed to be "oily", had black ties and hats plus wrap around sunglasses that they never took off. When questioned about the glasses they remarked that they could see perfectly well. Their ears stood out from their heads and their skin was pale white, whereas their fingernails were gray in color. They never removed the hats during their visit. Throughout the visit only one of them spoke. When asked for ID's they displayed "silver" cases that contained a photo, an unusual symbol, plus their names in small print. Upon entering the kitchen they asked the witness to please unplug the microwave, they also told him to turn the computer off. The two Persian cats were going crazy dashing around the room and trying to get out of the window, which was closed. Each man carried a briefcase with an inverted L shaped handle. The man that did all the talking asked to see the witness' unusual watch. He then removed from his briefcase four small containers, each had a different colored top. Opening two, he proceeded to pour the contents over the watch. He told the concerned witness that no harm would come to the watch. He was given $250 for the watch and told that they would give him the rest later. He told them that he was moving soon, to this they replied "We know...don't worry, we can find you if we want to." They soon departed without the common courtesies, staring blankly at the witness as he extended his hand. Once again the witness hurried to the bedroom window only to find, as before, no sign of either man departing, nor could any vehicle be heard leaving. After the visit the witness felt drained, had a severe headache that lasted for two days and a rash on his arms, face and chest. Strange Body Washes Ashore On Naklua Beach, Thailand Posted: 02 Apr 2010 12:55 PM PDT pdn - At approximately 06.45 am Police Lieutenant Colonel Suthamep Thaugsuban and his team were called when a foreign national walking his dogs stumbled on a decidely strange looking body that appeared to have been washed ashore on Naklua Beach. It is estimated to have been out of the water for approximately 8 hours. The animal is described as being approximately 2.3 metres (5ft) long with the lower half resembling that of a large marine mammal and the top taking the form of some sort of land creature with arms and webbed fingers. The whole of the creature is covered in scales, which have started to flake off due to the length of time out of the sea. The strange creature has been taken under naval escort to the marine laboratory in Sattahip for forensic examination. Pol. Lieutenant Colonel Suthamep Thaugsuban stated that there had been a similar incident that was reported some years ago on a beach in Malaysia, and also in the Philippines. In addition, there was a creature found after a tsunami at Marina Beach, Chennai. She is called Kadal Kanni in Tamil, which is an imaginary creature with the upper body of a human form and the tail of a fish. It is now preserved in the Egmore museum under tight security. Report: Possible Abduction - Exam Marks / Physical After Effects Posted: 02 Apr 2010 11:31 AM PDT MUFON witness report - undisclosed location in Virginia - 2009 - unedited: I was at home around 9-10:00 PM. I am an astronomy nut and a believer in aliens and UFOs so recently I had been watching the skies and had noticed several lights blinking various different colors, lights above the clouds, etc., etc, for a few months, and had noticed some marks on my body that I had jokingly suggested were the results of an abduction. Of course nobody believed me but I was alright with that and I was pretty happy to just go outside when my mother asked me to bring out our dog and watch the lights. However, that particular night I noticed something different, there was a brighter light just above the roof of my apartment complex. Well, obviously I stood there and just stared at it for a minute trying to figure out what it might be, because I'd never seen anything like that before. It wasn't blinking, it was just staying stationary in the sky but was way too bright to be a star. For a minute I thought it could be Jupiter, though I had no idea whether or not I could see Jupiter from where I was at that time during the year because I had recently moved across the country. Then I thought, 'Hey, that could be a UFO, you should go get your camera!" and rushed into the house in order to get it, left my dog there and ran back out to stand exactly where I had been before. I stood there with my camera for maybe thirty seconds, and after that I don't consciously remember being approached by the object nor it getting any closer to me. I have this sort of unconscious memory, instead, like a marker memory, where the object grew big and bright until it filled up my entire vision and I couldn't see anything but this blinding light. I couldn't see any features. I closed my eyes because it got too bright for me to keep them open and then when I opened them again, it was exactly where it had been in the sky. I was perfectly calm. I turned, walked back into my house, put down my camera, and tried to figure out what had happened. I looked at the clock, which I had checked just seconds before going out to take the picture, and found that ten minutes had passed. I was pretty calm about the entire ordeal, but after that I began noticing weird red marks on the insides of my elbows like needle marks and kept waking up with nosebleeds and getting weird pains in nose and sinus on one side. They continued for about a month and then stopped. I was calm about those, too, though I probably should have worried at that point, and for some reason felt almost like they were there for some important reason that I was vaguely aware of, but couldn't quite recall. NOTE: interesting that this witness experienced minimal lost time but seems to think he was subjected to an examination or probe. Naturally, the witness could have gotten the time wrong but there seems to be more to this account. As well, I'd like to know if the witness was checked out by a physician. I hope MUFON conducts an inquiry if only to have the report validated...Lon Report: Possible Abduction - Exam Marks / Physical After Effects |
'Sorcerer' Faces Imminent Execution - UPDATE: Stay Granted Posted: 02 Apr 2010 10:54 AM PDT Click for video Ali Sabat and his wife in Saudi Arabia. Photo released by his lawyer in Lebanon bbc - The lawyer for a Lebanese man sentenced to death in Saudi Arabia for witchcraft has appealed for international help to save him. Ali Sabat was the host of a popular Lebanese TV show in which he predicted the future and gave advice. He was arrested by religious police on sorcery charges while on a pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia in 2008. His lawyer, May el-Khansa, says she has been told Mr Sabat is due to be executed this week. Ms Khansa has contacted the Lebanese president and prime minister to appeal on his behalf. There has been no official confirmation from Saudi Arabia, but executions there are often carried out with little warning. Mr Sabat did make a confession, but Ms Khansa says he only did so because he had been told he could go back to Lebanon if he did. Human rights groups have accused the Saudis of "sanctioning a literal witch hunt by the religious police". An Egyptian working as a pharmacist in Saudi Arabia was executed in 2007 after having been found guilty of using sorcery to try to separate a married couple. There is no legal definition of witchcraft in Saudi Arabia, but horoscopes and fortune telling are condemned as un-Islamic. Nevertheless, there is still a big thirst for such services in the country where widespread superstition survives under the surface of strict religious orthodoxy. Click for video UPDATE: A Lebanese television psychic sentenced to death for "sorcery" in Saudi Arabia was granted a stay of execution on Friday, his lawyer told The BBC. Until he was arrested in 2008 while on a pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, Ali Sabat was the host of a satellite television program in which he promised to give "advice and predictions about the future," to callers from around the Arab world to his studio in Beirut, as Britain's Channel 4 News explained in a report on his case on Thursday. (That report, embedded above, includes scenes from Mr. Sabat's show and of his televised confession which was broadcast in Saudi Arabia.) The television psychic was popular in Saudi Arabia and was reportedly recognized by members of the country's religious police — officially known as the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice. According to Amnesty International, Mr. Sabat was sentenced to death in Medina in November, "after secret court hearings where he had no legal representation or assistance." The human rights group also reported that "on March 10, a court in Medina upheld the death sentence. The judges said that he deserved to be sentenced to death because he had practiced 'sorcery' publicly for several years before millions of viewers." The court added that his execution would act as a deterrent to what it called the increasing number of "foreign magicians" coming to Saudi Arabia. May al-Khansa, a lawyer working for Mr. Sabat in Lebanon, raised an alarm about Mr. Sabat's possible execution this week when she said on Wednesday that she had been told he would be beheaded "within 48 hours." On Friday, though, Ms. Khansa told The Associated Press that Lebanon's justice minister had informed her that Mr. Sabat "would not be executed in Saudi Arabia today — the day executions are typically carried out in the kingdom after noon prayers." Since Saudi authorities do not always give notice of executions, and have not responded to requests for comment from foreign media organizations, the apparent delay in Mr. Sabat's execution has yet to be confirmed. Ms. Khansa told a BBC radio program that she had been told that he was still alive on Friday, "But after that I don't have an answer as to if he will be alive or not. Time is passing and if they don't kill him this Friday maybe next Friday." In a television interview with the BBC, she appealed to Saudi Arabia's king to recognize that "Ali Sabat is not a criminal." In Beirut, Meris Lutz of The Los Angeles Times wrote that the case might be more about Saudi politics than law. One Lebanese legal expert who is familiar with Saudi law and politics described the case against Sabat as a "muscle show" by conservatives who may be seeking to embarrass reformist leaders such as King Abdullah. "I don't know on what grounds they arrested him, since he didn't commit [the crime] in Saudi, he's not a Saudi citizen, and it wasn't directed against Saudi, and usually one of these criteria must be fulfilled," the expert said, asking that her name not be published because she travels to Saudi Arabia. Ms. Lutz added that the legal expert suggested that Mr. Sabat might have been given the harshest possible sentence because he is a Shiite Muslim. NOTE: there are 'monsters' everywhere, including these medieval f**ks in Saudi Arabia...Lon 'Sorcerer' Faces Imminent Execution - UPDATE: Stay Granted Send us an email "The latest news from beyond the mainstream" Join Ben & Aaron for their weekly podcast!
