| CFZ: Hairs Found at Huddisford Woods, Devon Identified as Leopard Posted: 18 Aug 2010 11:13 AM PDT   Jon Downes at CFZ: Still On The Track, posted the following: On Friday morning, in front of a number of witnesses and a Danish TV crew, Lars Thomas - a Danish scientist with a high reputation - analysed a number of black hairs on brambles and thorns at Huddisford Woods. Some of these hairs were found by him, and some by Andrew Perry, Nadia Novali and their friends. The CFZ have been actively studying the big cat reports from this area since 2005, and for the last 18 months have been making a feature-length film there. Max and I drove the team to Huddisford Woods on Friday and showed them three of the places that the big cats have been seen. We did not tell them specifically where to look and the Danish TV crew will, I am sure corroborate this. After microscopic analysis, and comparison with known leopard hairs, Lars identified the hairs found in the woods as being from a leopard. The analysis was carried out in front of representatives of the CFZ (including president Colonel John Blashford-Snell), and was filmed both by CFZtv and the aforementioned Danish TV crew. The video of the examination will be released as soon as we have time to digitise it (probably in a few days). Conspiracy theorists will no doubt claim that we will use this time to somehow doctor the results. This is just not true: the examination was filmed on our Sony PD150 and we have to digitise the DV Tapes which has to be done in real time, and we just have not had the time to do it. Lars Thomas is not just an old friend of the CFZ, but he has been a core member since 1994. Several other people in the party that found the hairs are also CFZ members. The CFZ have therefore proved that there are big cats living wild in this country. However, in view of recent events we would like these findings corroborated. We have 25-30 of these hairs, and will make them available to anyone who has the resources and expertise to test them, including - if they wish to participate - the Big Cats in Britain research group, who have made no secret of their animosity towards us. There are two provisos: 1. That the results (including any reports, films or photographs) are immediately put into the public domain 2. | Unexplained Lights at Mobile, Alabama Fire Station Posted: 18 Aug 2010 10:33 AM PDT  wishtv - Firefighters in Mobile are trying to come up with a logical explanation for a mystery at the central station downtown.Something weird caught the attention of a firefighter passing through the museum room of the Central Station early Monday morning. That's when Steve Huffman got a call. "He said, 'We've got a little unusual situation downtown that you might be interested in.' And I said, 'OK, what would that be?'" Huffman said. The alarm system was lit up. "The number four, which is a blue light, and the number ten, which is a red light," he explained. There's just one little problem. "The old alarm system, the Gamewell Alarm System, hasn't been used in over 40 years, and far as we know it's not connected any longer," explained Huffman. The batteries to power the panel were taken out 40 years ago, and the wires which ran through another panel on a different wall were ripped out years ago. So where did the power for the light come from? "Some say it's the ghost of Laz Schwarz which was the city commissioner and mayor in the early 1900s," Huffman explained.  Huffman said the stories of a ghost haunting the central fire station have been around as long as he has."In some cases, they actually thought they saw someone walking around the building. In other cases, things would move," said Huffman. Huffman admits firefighters are notorious jokesters, but he said one of the ghost stories came from someone who never joked. "We were joking, saying he didn't have a sense of humor, and when he said he saw a ghost, out of all the ones I've heard over the years, he's the one I would believe," added Huffman. FOX10 News searched the archives at the Mobile Library for more information on Laz Schwarz. We didn't find much. Schwarz served as mayor and commissioner of Mobile from 1911 to 1917. The fire station was dedicated in Schwarz's honor in 1925, the same year he died. "Some people seem to think that maybe his spirit still walks this building. Now, why he would be in this building, I don't know," Huffman said. A lightning strike knocked out the computers at the central station Sunday. The strike may have something to do with the mysterious lights, but some folks like the ghost story better. Click for video **********  Two lights on Mobile's Central Fire Station's Gamewell Alarm System panel were lit this morning, despite the fact that power hasn't been run to the panel in more than 40 years, according to a news release from the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department. The lights, blue No. 4 and red No. 10, were on this morning when firefighters walked into the panel room, which is now part of a museum display. The likely cause, according to the release, was Sunday night's lightning storm. Or a ghost, the release joked. According to the release, the Central Fire Station, on St. Francis Street, and the alarm system panel were built in 1925. "Because of lack of telephones and radios during that time, pull boxes were strategically placed on streetcorners," according to the release. The Mission: Impossible star, who appears in new ocean horror Piranha 3D, reveals one trip to explore life under the waves in Queensland, Australia left him freaked out - because he could not identify what the "prehistoric"-looking monster was. He tells WENN, "Snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef I saw something I don't know what it was to this day. My mind couldn't relate to what it was... If I saw it and knew it was a shark I wouldn't be as afraid but I saw something that looked prehistoric and I haven't been snorkeling since. It was a combination of a catfish and something with a large oblongish-type head. It came towards me and I froze and it just went away. I haven't done any scuba diving since either." "Two years ago I developed strange human flesh on my anus and my wife confirmed to me that they were female genitals but they disappeared." Mateyu explained. "But in June this year they reappeared just between the anus and the genitals. My member shrunk and later disappeared. There were only female genitals," he continued. Mateyu immediately sought the assistance of a traditional healer who cut the alleged female genitals with a knife and sprinkled herbs on them. "They were cut and herbs were applied. Now male genitals have resurfaced but they are too weak; I can't perform in bed," Mateyu told the Malawi National newspaper. Mateyu blames his suffering on black magic, and has accused both his mother-in-law and his second wife's ex-husband for bewitching him and turning him into a woman. Mateyu's first wife ran away after he stole his second wife from another man, he believes that this is the motive for his first wife's mother and his second wife's ex-partner for using black magic against him. The young man, who now has three wives explained how his second wife had been with her husband for many years but had not been able to produce children. Believing it was the husband who was seedless the couple looked for a suitable donor to sire a child. At first the husband brought home an old man to impregnate his wife, but she wasn't happy with this choice and subsequently began paying Mateyu regular visits for hanky-panky. After a short while the woman decided not to return to her barren husband and stayed with Mateyu instead, that is when his first wife left and the alleged female genitals arrived. Mateyu also revealed that his new female parts itch a lot and sometimes bleed after they are scratched. His wife told him he is most likely menstruating. Dr Vincent Moyo from the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital gave a statement saying it was not possible for a man to develop female sexual organs. **********  Rare 2,200-Year-Old Gold Coin Found in Israel CNN - A rare gold coin dating back 2,200 years was discovered by a combined university research team in Israel, a top Israeli antiquities official said Thursday. Dr. Donald T. Ariel, head of the Coin Department of the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA), said the coin ranked in the top five of the rarest finds in that country's history. "Intrinsically, for coin research, it's a very exciting find," Ariel told CNN. "This is an amazing numismatic find. The coin is beautiful and in excellent preservation. It is the heaviest gold coin with the highest contemporary value of any coin ever found in an excavation in Israel." Ariel said the coin weighs almost one ounce (27.71 grams), while most ancient gold coins weighed about 4.5 grams. It was minted in Alexandria, Egypt, by Ptolemy V and dates to 191 BCE. It is only the second gold Ptolemaic coin ever found in Israel. The obverse, or 'head' of the coin, portrays Queen Arsinoe II Philadelphus. The reverse, or 'tail,' illustrates two "overlapping cornucopias decorated with fillets," according to the IAA. In the parlance of antiquities experts, the coin's denomination is referred to as a "mnaieion," meaning a one-mina coin, and is equivalent to 100 silver drachms, or a mina of silver. The meaning of the word Philadelphus is "brotherly love" and in this context relates to the fact that Queen Arsinoe II Philadelphus was married to her brother, Ptolemy II, who was her second husband. She was first married at age 15 to Lysimachus, king of Thrace, who was one of Alexander the Great's generals. Ariel said it was not uncommon in that period of history for siblings to intermarry. The coin was found by U.S. researchers working for the University of Michigan and the University of Minnesota on June 26. It was embedded in a stone wall "separating the northwest storeroom of the Hellenistic administrative building from a room currently identified as a kitchen," according to Ariel. Ariel speculated it was possible the coin had been secretly hidden and the owner, or the person who possessed the coin at the time, may not have been able to retrieve it for unknown reasons. | Posted: 18 Aug 2010 09:31 AM PDT  Click for video The reckless driving is reportedly due to an urban legend that says the spirit of a 20-year-old motorcycle rider — who was killed in a crash by a speeding car three years ago — will appear and pursue a dangerous driver along the stretch of road.  dailytelegraph - It could be one of the most bizarre reasons ever offered by a speeding driver - "A ghost made me do it''.But that is exactly the story being put forward by superstitious motorists hitting speeds of up to 180km/h on a road north of Newcastle, supposedly to conjure a ghost. Port Stephens police have issued a warning to drivers after it emerged that young people were driving at dangerously high speeds along a stretch of Lemon Tree Passage Rd to conjure the spirit of a 20-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash with a speeding driver in the area three years ago. A handful of videos have been posted on YouTube, allegedly showing a ghostly bright light appearing in the rear windscreen of cars that start driving at dangerous speeds. Some locals are convinced the light is that of the motorcyclist's ghost, in pursuit of people who drive dangerously. It might sound far-fetched but speeding to summon the ghost has become such a concern that police have issued a warning about the behaviour. "It's alleged that if you drive at speed in a manner dangerous, a bright white light comes in behind you and that's what they are calling the Lemon Tree Passage ghost,'' a police spokeswoman said. "There have been several phone calls that people are going out there and while attempting to get footage for YouTube these cars are travelling at excessive speed.'' The YouTube videos posted so far do show a bright light clearly visible, sometimes close to the car and other times in the far distance. But the source of the light is unclear. "We want speeding drivers to know that the only bright light they'll be seeing in their rear windows will be the red and blue lights of a police car,'' the police spokeswoman said. It seems that some UFO groups and at least one other researcher have examined the photos and have found the witness to be credible: Original event description from Todd Sheldon - not modified: I started taking photos in my home, where a spirit face showed up on one of my photos I took at the window in 2007, using telepathy. That didn't happen again until 2008 where i started taking more photos in my house, and would escalate to other places. I was told in June of 2008 as i took that photo to a visionary Medium in Maryland, she told me that the photo is about extra terrestrials...it is incredible the things on that photo. She would go on to say that I would have more visitors and that they would be back. Now i never knew that this was going to happen...other things were showing up in my photos, now when i got home it was June 28 2008 i was dozing off at my computer for about a minute when that face just jumped in my vision with my eyes closed...It would be even in September i was still walking around my home taking pictures as i felt when and where to take one...this is how i got this face. I was checking the photo at work a day later and i almost deleted it..when i saw it!!! I actually freaked out because i knew i had seen that face months earlier. A day after that the company I work for was showing a guy around the place for a job and in my 20+ years their I never saw anyone come in there with a t-shirt on with a extra terrestrial grey face on the back of his shirt!!! I thought wow this is a confirmation!! It would also be that year my wife became clairvoyant and was seeing spirits, angels and bug looking beings in our room at night..etc...and I was taking more photos. I will note that nothing that I or my wife ever saw was a solid…all spirit forms. It wasn't until late February that my wife woke up in the night and saw him in the air, just his head..then it quickly changed into that of a little boys head. 2 sightings and a photo, I knew something was up with him, then September 20 I was with another medium and I took another photo and you can see a being standing near a tree with another. In that photo you can see the oval head on it. I cannot confirm as to the origin of either of the two photos but a few groups have studied the face in my living room window and all have said there is no fraud found in the photo. And the last group said there was def..something in the photo, but we cannot prove exactly what it is. So this has been a wild gift that i had been given with photos, then my wife started saying that she wants nothing to do with aliens, I told her for some reason i felt ok with it. When she said this last year I was at the dinner table with her and I had my 2 photos out on the table shaking my head and saying I cannot believe this is happening, and my wife looked up and in the doorway of the kitchen were 2 oval shaped green eyes hovering in the air looking at us .She wasn't scared because it was daytime, if it was night she would not of been happy, so then my wife started having visions and dreams of them I had Ufo dreams and alien dreams...but her one dream was interesting in the way that my wife is not in any way shape or form interested in the paranormal or aliens .And she does not even thinks about this in her day Here is the dream, she is laying down in the dream a bright light is on her ,she sees the ET looking eyes looking through the light at her and the voice says " Don't be afraid we are going to work on your head". She heard voltage type sounds, then the voice said that is all we can do, she heard a food timer go off then she woke up. Here is the kicker, my wife was getting bad headaches for a month and after that dream they were gone. We both have our own journals of all of the strange things in our lives and home since 2007...i can tell you this I have never seen a UFO. As of August 14 2010 though we still have many visits from spirits…etc..neither of us had any contact whatsoever with the face we both saw in our home…the same as on the photograph. Though a lot of people may not believe, many now are starting to because they know me as a person and know I would never lie about something so important. NOTE: I used several hue changes on the image to see if this was simply an anomaly from the camera. Honestly, I have some reservations...I'll wait to see what evidence and conclusions come from it. I would like to hear the story behind this in more detail. I have contacted the witness to request more information.
