ATS - "I was at my friend's house over the weekend and on Sunday night we decided to make ourselves a Ouija board, now... there will be people reading this saying, "you idiots!" and "what on earth were you thinking!", etc. I am perfectly aware that it can sometimes be dangerous if it isn't done in the correct way. I took all the precautions, using a piece of flat plywood which was laminated with plastic on the one side, using an old glass which could later be discarded.

Now...allow me to tell you what happened!

This was both our first time and we both assured each other that we were going to do it properly, no being stupid and pushing the glass around to fool the other.

We started off by saying a prayer and then asking if there were any spirits present. We were requesting only contact with peaceful and good energies/spirits.

The glass was moving very slowly at first and we were unsure if it was working or not. We asked if there was somebody who wished to talk to us and the glass slowly moved over to the 'yes' marker. We asked if the spirit was male or female and it indicated that it was female. We then asked it to spell out it's name. It then picked up a bit of speed, first going to a 'K' and then to a 'Y' and then to 'M' then it went back to the center, spelling out 'KYM'.

Now, my friend went absolutely white and you could see that he was freaked out. We then asked how she died and the spirit spelled ou and the spirit spelled out 'CAR'. My friend became even more freaked out. Then we asked what kind of car it was that she died in and it proceeded to spell out, RELIANT ROBIN. It was at this point that my friend told me that his auntie was dead, her name was Kym, that she died in a car accident and what car was she in??? You guessed it...she was in a Reliant Robin.

We then asked the spirit if it had anything to tell us. It indicated 'NO' and then said 'GOODBYE'.

Next we asked if there were anymore spirits that wished to communicate with us. It suddenly got very cold in the room and the hair was standing up on our necks and legs. This spirit was powerful, the glass moved a LOT faster. We asked if it was a male or female and it indicated that was a 'MALE'. We asked for the spirits name and it said he was called 'LIAM'. We asked for the spirit's age when he passed over and he went to the '7' and then to the '0' indicating '70'. We then asked whether he had anything to tell us and it proceeded to spell out, 'OLLIE'. Which is in fact my friend's younger brother's name! My friend then told me that his younger brother Ollie had seen the spirit of an old man standing in the garden some years earlier. We asked if it had anything else to tell us. We received some letters which seemed like total gibberish....'W L S' and 'W J S' and also 'O D O X'. We have yet to find out if the letters actually mean anything. The last thing it said to us was 'ADIEU', which I believe is French for farewell? We took that as our cue to finish up, we closed down with another prayer."

NOTE: I found this posted at ATS today...hopefully, these participants found benevolent spirits only. I have always been wary of using a Ouija board ever since I witnessed a real nasty entity sneak through during an investigation several years ago. What do you think of the results? Is this anecdote's result just a bit too convenient? What experiences have you had?...Lon

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE OUIJA BOARD

What is a Ouija board? Ouija boards came into existence as a parlor game in the mid-1800's, when spiritism and channeling were at the height of fashion. The word "Ouija" is a blend of the French and German words for "yes." Adolphus Theodore Wagner first patented Ouija boards, sometimes referred to as "talking boards," in London, England on January 23, 1854. In the patent, Wagner called his invention a "psychograph" and its purpose was to read the minds of people with "nervous energy." By 1861, Frenchman, Allan Kardac, was describing the Ouija board as instruments with which to open communications with the spirit world. In seven short years, the Ouija board had evolved from a mind-reader to portal of communication with the dead.

Modern Ouija boards were developed by inventor William Fuld in Baltimore, MD. Fuld sold his patent to Parker Brothers in 1966. Ouija boards, as we recognize them today, look nothing like the original prototypes. The 20-25 million Ouija boards sold by Parker Brothers consist of a rectangular game board that is covered with a woodcut-style alphabet, the words yes, no, and good-bye, and the numbers 0-9. Also included with the "game" is a heart-shaped plastic planchette. The planchette is the 'pointer' that is supposed to glide over the board under the direction of supernatural forces and form comments and questions by pointing out questions and comments. Parker Brothers has marketed Ouija Boards under the tagline, "It's only a game - isn't it?"

In December 1988, my father and I were on our farm feeding the animals a couple hundred yards from our house. We were walking along the road on our way back to the house when my father stopped, realizing he forgot to check on the cows. I went ahead as my father ran back to the barn. One or two minutes later, a neon orange oval craft popped up from a gully about 15 feet from me. The structure shimmered with a gaseous cloud enclosing the solid object. The structure could not have been smaller than 20 feet wide and may have been more than 25 feet. As it hovered above the road, I noticed round portholes in the side of the craft, though opaque from my angle. For three minutes the object hovered without making a sound. Then, just as sudden as it had appeared, it shot off through a patch of trees and vanished heading in a southwestern direction. I quickly fled the scene to share my experience with my parents.

After this experience, I was plagued by strange dreams of several boys and myself yelling as we ran from a UFO and jumped through a window. One night, in particular, I had my sleeping bag zipped up over my head out of fear from the experience. I felt as if something had reached in through the window and poked me through the sleeping bag. I couldn't see what it was that terrorized me, but I think it was related to my previous experience.

When I grew older I had more unusual experiences. In 1997, I witnessed a formation of colored lights near a relative's house while driving. The objects were red, white, yellow, and green and were approximately 40 yards away from my vehicle.

It was the most recent encounter, however, that finally spurred me to share my experiences as it was too bizarre to keep to myself. While hunting with friends on a farm three miles from my house, I came across a creature standing in the woods. It was a 'being' three feet tall with white skin, black almond shaped eyes with no whites, a small nose, and very thin lips. To my amazement, the 'being' looked almost human and was wearing a green camouflage hunting cap. My hunting buddies were turned away from it at the time, so I was the only one of us that witnessed the 'being' before it vanished. I think this 'being' may have been some sort of human-alien hybrid, but cannot explain why it was wearing a hunting cap.

Denver To Vote On UFO/Extraterrestrials Commission

denverpost - A proposal to create a Denver commission to study visitors from outer space will go before voters this summer after supporters gathered the required signatures to get it on the ballot.

City Clerk and Recorder Stephanie O'Malley sent a letter on Monday to Jeff Peckman, who submitted the signatures, stating she had deemed them sufficient.

The ordinance change required 3,974 valid signatures. Peckman submitted more than 10,000 signatures.

Peckman said he will ask voters to approve creating the commission from "grants, gifts and donations."

The seven-member commission would be tasked with collecting evidence that extraterrestrials and their "UFO vehicles" have been visiting Earth.

Peckman, 55, of Denver, and a self-described entrepreneur, said the election on the issue would go with the next regularly scheduled citywide election, currently set for Aug. 10.

He predicted that the election would cause high-profile believers in extraterrestrial to come out and tell Denver voters about what they know.

"They will see there is an attentive audience, and that people are digging into this issue," Peckman said. "They will see there is an opportunity to say something when people are paying attention."

In 2003, Peckman pushed a "Safety Through Peace" initiative that voters rejected. If that proposal had passed, it would have required the city to implement systematic, stress-reducing techniques or programs that are scientifically proven to decrease stress and would financially benefit the city.

Peckman had suggested the peace-inducing techniques could involve everything from more nutritious food in public schools to mass meditation sessions to piping soothing music into public buildings to reduce stress and violence.

The initiatives Peckman has pushed has generated concern among some city council members who fear the threshold for ballot initiatives invites frivolous initiatives. The current system for getting an ordinance change on the ballot pegs the number of signatures required to a percentage of the last mayoral vote, which in recent years has been low.

Who or What is Controlling Our Weather and Why?

I have been writing about the odd chemtrails that have been dusting our skies for about a year. The trails are seen often in huge displays over Long Island New York where I reside. They are not normal air traffic and I will no longer go about the tedious task of explaining why. They are not contrails and not being sprayed in the commercial or military air traffic lanes- so please spare me that nonsense. We are being sprayed with something for some reason. The only fact we have is that we are being kept in the complete dark about it.

Have you noticed the articles and newscasts concerning our climate problems? Have you listened to the endless debate on climate change until you are ready to collapse from the non-ending conflict? Have you noticed no one in any of those arenas who discuss these things ever ask, inquire or suggest that the crafts spraying our skies non stop may have something to do with our climate issues? Is it me or are we getting to the point of such brain freeze that these things go on and on and we simply sit, stare and do nothing!

I read two articles in the past few weeks about China seeding its weather to cause early snowstorms. The news article proclaimed clearly that Beijing Weather Modification Office found themselves seeding clouds with chemicals. This event was in an effort to end a drought in the area. China did this not once but twice recently. Both times produced full-blown snowstorms.

Hugo Chavez says he is starting to "bombard" clouds now that Cuba has provided Venezuela with cloud-seeding help in an effort to produce rain and alleviate the effects of a severe drought.

The Venezuelan president said that specialized equipment, sent by Fidel Castro and Cuban President Raul Castro, is starting to be used to seed clouds from planes.

"We're bombarding clouds," Chavez said during a televised speech. "We have some planes there, and some equipment that Fidel and Raul sent us."

Chavez is trying to squeeze more rain from the clouds as his country heads into its dry season amid a drought that has put reservoirs at their lowest levels in decades.

It is clear and out in the open that climate manipulation is going on openly and without concern on this earth. Our own country as well as so many others is also being sprayed and caught in this weather changing agenda. It is not science fiction it is real and happening.

I sit and look at this entire situation and wonder how we can with serious faces debate climate changes or problems when we are the ones tampering with Mother Nature. I know we are heading into very unstable times ahead with many cycles coming due including volcano eruptions, earthquakes, solar changes and pole flips to mention only a few.

I cannot help fear that our interfering with our climate at this time in history a road to disastrous ends. Our planet is in a place now of growth and change as it is scheduled to be. It has its own cycles as does the sun and our entire universe for that matter. I am truly fearful that interfering with the planets natural cycles may be a tremendous mistake.

A friend of mine listened to my fears and suggested that the powers that be that are doing these things may know something we do not. He suggested that all this on going chemical spraying and weather manipulation might be to try to stall or ease an event that is coming our way. I would like to feel that the actions I fear are for the good of mankind yet I am having great difficulty grasping that concept living in a world of hate, war and violence.

Frankly all of this has me confused, annoyed and very concerned. I try to write about it but find few interested. How can changing the natural actions of this large living earth not cause drastic results?

I watch as we go about the business of living green. I watch as we have international committees formed to deal with pollution. I wonder how we can over look the events taking place that manipulate the climate throwing the natural cycles of the earth into a tailspin. How can this not be a potentially dangerous practice?

Could it be that the spraying going on over our heads for the past years is an attempt to ward off catastrophic events? If so, why isn't it discussed by science openly?

Are we already in danger and the attempts by governments to change the future of this earth being done by way of the weather manipulations? If so we need to be informed. Can the constant chemtrails above us be a needed event for the survival of mankind? I think that should be explained if the case. What ever is going on it is happening in secret and we are being handled as if we are brainless and blind.

A far greater fear for me is that the world is not united in the events happening around the world and societies are taking the task of changing the wishes of Mother Nature into their own hands. This can only end in devastation as invading the natural life cycle of this planet should never be done for the good of the few when it could mean the devastation of many.

I do not understand or know what is going on concerning these matters. I am not even sure who is to be blamed or targeted as the reasons all of it is going on. All I do know is the weather is being changed, we are being sprayed, and it all goes on with a yawn and nod from the human race.

I am nervous about this world. Too many different cycles and timed events are now due in the near future. I fear for us all and simply want to know what is going on that will directly affect each and everyone of our lives.

Are we being protected or fooled? Are we being helped or are we in upcoming danger beyond the events we know are due to occur? Is there anyone driving this bus or are we all simply holding on for dear life as whoever and whatever does what they will with us?

All I can do is share my concerns with you – and hope I am wrong about my fears and all will forever remain well with our world.
