The following are previous humanoid / cryptid encounter reports received by various agencies worldwide:

DINOSAUR-LIKE BIRD

Location/Date: near Murmansk, Russia - Summer 1995 - 8:30 PM

Two men were riding a car on a local road outside of Murmansk. Despite being in the evening it was still light out. The road was about 4 meters wide and was asphalt and surrounded by fields and tall canes on both sides. The road was straight and there was excellent visibility.

At approximately 15-20 meters in front of the car a strange creature was seen running across the road. The creature looked bird-like and it was visibly huge. The entity had long legs, about 2 meters long, dark feathers along the back and an odd shaped body. Unfortunately the witnesses were unable to see any additional details, but discerned that the strange 'bird' was similar to a 'running reptile.'

They stopped the car but realized that it was useless to look for the strange entity amid the dense cane fields. One of the witnesses, while reading a book on dinosaurs, found a picture that depicted almost exactly what he and his friends had seen. The image was later identified as a dinosaur from the Order Ornithischia.

Local naturalist stated that no species of animal fitting that description lives in the region.

BLACK PROJECT...or ALIEN CRAFT w/ HUMANOIDS?

Location/Date: San Francisco, California - January 30 2000 - 11:15 PM

The witness was hauling up a line of crab traps off Farlon Island with his dog onboard his 25-foot boat. While leaning over the side, the dog began barking furiously. The witness looked up and saw a huge triangular shaped object hovering above him, totally silent. Then a beam of white light hit the witness and he fell backwards onto the sole of the cabin. He grabbed a Rugger 10-22 rifle loaded with a 100 round magazine and started firing at the bottom part of the object. The witness was apparently able to shoot out the light. While grabbing a second clip, he saw a hatch open up on the bottom side of the object and two persons leaned down and yelled "Stop shooting at us you idiot." He also heard a hissing sound resembling air escaping from a flat tire. The object then moved off to the south.

A helicopter then appeared and hovered over the boat. The chopper was flat black in color and was silent with no markings on it. As the chopper hovered a flash of light was directed towards the boat. He last saw the triangle gaining altitude and disappear towards the south. The helicopter was last seen heading towards the Golden Gate Bridge.

UNKNOWN PREDATOR

Location/Date: Calama, Chile - March 16 2002 - 10:00 PM

A woman was watching television alone in her bedroom when she began hearing noises coming from outside. At first she thought it was her dogs playing around with some empty cans, but the noises kept getting louder and she decided to go outside to investigate. Once outside she was stunned to see some an unknown creature that had somehow entered the rabbit cage and was attacking the animals that were making loud terrible screams. Thinking at first that it was one of the dogs she approached the case but soon realized that it was a gray-colored hairy and hunched over creature, moving furiously quickly inside the cage. She stepped back and could not understand how the creature had entered the cage, since there wasn't any apparent hole or aperture visible anywhere and the door was securely closed.

She frantically ran inside her home and called for her son. Both then ran out but the creature had mysteriously disappeared. Unnerved, they could not understand how the creature had escaped since the door to the rabbit cage was still securely locked.

After careful examination, they could only find a small round hole in the wire only several centimeters in width, not large enough for a creature estimated to have been about 70 to 80 cm in height. Several of the rabbits were found injured and one was dead.

SUBTERRANEAN BLUE SKINNED HUMANOIDS

Location/Date: Blowing Cave, Arkansas - 1966 - late afternoon

Several spelunkers, among them George D. Wight, were exploring the cave when they spotted a light at the end of the tunnel. As they approached it, Wight noticed a narrow crevice, just big enough for him to squeeze inside it where he found artificial steps.

He called to the others and they climbed through the opening. The tunnel expanded and they suddenly came into a large corridor, 20 by 20. The walls and the floors were smooth and the ceiling had a curved dome shape. Soon they encountered blue skinned but otherwise human-like individuals. The strangers communicated with the witnesses, telling them that they had instruments that could measure people's emotions. They learned that the tunnels went on for miles.

They were led to underground cities populated by entities that included serpent-like creatures and large hairy bipeds. Using an elevator-like device, they were taken to a glass like city.

Soon after this incident, Wight apparently returned to the cave and was never seen again.

thesun - This is the 44th strange sighting since 1977 in an area dubbed "UFO Valley".

And the sleepy pocket of Lancs - best known for giving the world legendary actress Dame Thora Hird - has now clocked up the highest number of close encounters in the country. The latest sighting in the Bacup and Rossendale area was made by Aron Sacks.

The carpenter snapped the mysterious object from his window on a mobile phone.

Yesterday he told how it hovered for less than a minute, before silently zooming off at high speed.

Aron, 34, added: "It was amazing - certainly not a normal aircraft. I grabbed my phone, took one photo - then when I looked back it had gone. There was no sound, nothing. It's very haunting to think I've seen a UFO."

But sightings run in the family - with Aron's dad Mike, 69, spotting THREE UFOs near their home in the village of Stackstead.

Former tailor Mike said: "The first in 1978 looked like the one Aron saw.

"It was oval, about 600ft up and doing 80mph. I thought, 'Blimey, what the blooming heck is that?'" Four others also spotted it and cops investigated. Mike added: "This is UFO Valley. Aliens might be looking for water or materials in the stone quarries."

Alien Close Encounter - Exmouth, Devon, UK

metro - A UFO sceptic was left terrified and running away so quickly he twisted his ankle, after seeing a mysterious craft and an otherworldly figure in Exmouth's aptly-named Phear Park.

Retired engineer Roy Shaw was taking a night-time stroll with his dog, Sydney, when the close encounter happened.

He said: 'The object was round, about 30ft in diameter and 100ft long, with blue and red flashing lights on its perimeter.

'It appeared to land at the top end of the park by the bowling green. My dog started to growl when what I can only describe as a white shape came towards us.

'It was about 4ft high and seemed to be translucent and moved very slowly towards us. I was transfixed because it made a droning noise, which sounded like "my, my".'

Devon UFO expert Nigel Wright said: 'This is a close encounter of the third kind – encountering an occupant of a UFO in close proximity to the craft. This is a really important sighting.'

However, Mr Shaw said he remained a sceptic and was at a loss to explain Saturday's incident.

Bigfoot Sighting Reported - Grayson County, Virginia

No one knows for sure but the Grayson County Sheriff's Department received a call last Thursday night reporting Big Foot or some other furry, upright creature.

Sheriff Richard Vaughan said the sheriff's office received a call about 9:30 p.m. from a Grayson County man who said his wife, another woman and a young boy were traveling north on Route 89.

The caller reported that while traveling between the Blue Ridge Parkway bridge and Edmonds Road they spotted a huge creature that was about 7 feet tall, hairy all over and black.

The creature reportedly came up to the edge of the highway and when he saw car lights disappeared into some pine trees nearby.

Vaughan said he reported the incident to Virginia Conservation Police Officers, Jason Harris and George Shupe, who went to the scene last Friday to investigate but didn't turn up anything.

Reported sightings of Bigfoot or Sasquatch vary a good deal, but there are several details that remain consistent. Eyewitnesses describe a tall primate, at least 7 feet tall, that walks on two legs. It stands upright like a human being and is covered in long, dark fur. It has a face that is a cross between a gorilla and a human being.

The Internet is littered with reports of alleged Sasquatch sightings and experiences in the Appalachian Mountains, particularly along the Appalachian Trail and the Blue Ridge Parkway; however, the scientific community does not acknowledge the alleged creature's existence.
