Here is the commentary with the enhanced video: Wally Hersom and Matt Moneymaker examine the Great North figure. This is the Blu-Ray version shown on a large Sanyo LED monitor. It shows more clarity than anything we've seen before, and more clearly reveals the figure to be a human wearing dark clothes -- likely a crew person directing the caribou herd.

NOTE: As I surmised, it was just camera crew that got caught in the shot...Lon

Several Witnesses Report Flashing Object Near Moon - 1/11/10

MUFON witness report: Arizona - 01-11-10 - Flashing Object near Moon - My 17-year-old daughter was taking me into work so she could drive to school that day. I am very observant of the skies these days, I looked at the crescent moon and yelled at Alicia to look.

I asked her if she saw the flashing star on the tip of the crescent moon and she did, we pulled over on the shoulder of the road and I told her to start taking pictures.

I called my girlfriend whom I was going to give her a ride to work too, and told her what I was seeing and to go look at the moon. I asked my daughter if the flashing star looked red to her, and she said yes.

We drove very slowly down the mountain and I took pics with my cell phone too. When we got down to the bottom of the mountain the star appeared to be further away from the tip of the crescent moon and it was a white star.

I went to work and looked out on the back porch and there was a star still further away, but I think this was a normal star. My first thought was a UFO because I have had some unusual sightings of unexplainable lights since April of 2009, and several years ago also.

Te red flashing light was on the lower tip of the crescent moon. I don't remember any certain rhythm of flashing - at times I thought it was flashing white. We pulled off the road a couple of times to get pictures and being a wooded area we only had full view here and there.

When we got to the bottom of the mountain and down the road a way, I asked Alicia if the light appeared further away from the moon and I think she agreed, I was still very excited. I don't think my friend could see anything.

I will call her today and get her details because I feel the need to start writing this down in a journal. I can't upload pics now, but we do have them on our phones and camera. I haven't had a good look at the pics on the camera because I was very tired yesterday and rested all the evening.

MUFON witness report: Colorado - 01-11-10 - Object near Moon - This morning while driving to work, I saw a bright white (planet sized) object that was stationary with the moon. I live in the Denver area, and was traveling south on 470 to I-25 South (0555).

The object was as bright as Venus would be, and was 2 degrees to the right of the moon in a stationary orbit. I kept an eye on the object that was in the same position relative to the moon (2 degrees).

The object stayed in the same position to the moon for the duration of the observation (1 hour). After traveling on I-25 South until 0700 the object disappeared with the moon as the sun came up.

From an educated guess the object was probably very large as it was in the moon's shadow, and did not fade or move. The object could have been at the same position before and after my observation.

My other guess is it was a mother ship from the size. I usually see at least 1 UFO a week in this area of Colorado. I reported this object as it was very different, and not easy to dispute.

MUFON witness report: Texas - 01-11-10 - UFO in Front of Moon - I was driving to work in the Dallas area at 5:45 AM on January 11, 2010, and I noticed the moon. There was what appeared to be something blocking out the bottom tip of the crescent moon.

Further out from where the tip of the crescent moon would have extended was a white light. This opaque object "sat" stationary from the time I left my house to the time I got to work (approximately 30 minutes).

I came back outside after the sun had come up with a co-worker and it was gone. I've never seen anything like it. That afternoon, there was an abundance of chem trails also, at least 10-15.

NOTE: There were other sightings besides these three reported to MUFON on 1-12-10, though, most of the most definitive 'flashing object' reports came from the US Southwest. Below is a later unedited MUFON report from Arkansas:

More Strangeness Reported In Cannock Chase

sundaymercury - The owners of a pub plagued by ghostly goings-on are set to call in investigators in a bid to discover why the venue is a hotspot for paranormal activity.

Paul Donnor, owner of the Park Gate Inn, Cannock Wood, is considering calling in the ghostbusters after a spate of unexplained occurrences.

Ghostly figures, floating orbs and inexplicable temperature changes have been reported by staff and visitors to the pub - parts of which date back to the 1600s.

Paul said: "I've experienced many things at the pub which cannot be explained.

"It is notoriously paranormal and renowned around here for being haunted. We are considering holding a paranormal evening later in the year with investigators to see what we can find out."

Paul believes the unexplained goings-on could be linked to the death of a former landlady in 1969.

But locals believe the pub's proximity to iron age hill fort Castle Ring could be the real reason for the spate of paranormal activity.

In the village of Cannock Wood, Castle Ring is the most ancient and historic feature of Cannock Chase.

It stands at the highest point of the Chase and commands a glorious landscape view.

The Park Gate Inn is just 500 yards from Castle Ring - widely believed to be one of the most mystical places in the Midlands.

Sue Penton, of Paranormal Awakening, said: "There have been reports of strange music being heard up there.

"It is such a high place there have been lots of UFO sightings there too."

A member of Staffordshire UFO Group, said: "Obviously, Castle Ring is the highest point on Cannock Chase which makes it a good place for UFO spotting. There have been numerous incidents of UFOs, which could be because you are more likely to see something from a high point.

"There have been reports of something landing there in the 1960s. From a research point of view, there are a high number of reports around ancient sites. One argument could be that ancient sites have been located there because of the incidents of UFOs and natural phenomenon. There could be locations where there could be magnetic influences in the ground which have been attributed to earth lights.

"People explain UFOs as structured craft and that has been associated with Castle Ring in the past. There has been a lot of activity around that area."

Visitors to Castle Ring have also reported sightings of a Bigfoot-type creature roaming the land.

In 2005, businessman Alec Williams was driving home from a meeting in Rugeley across the Chase and near to Castle Ring.

He witnessed a large, hairy creature lumber across the road and into the trees. The incident lasted around eight seconds.

In 2009, the historic monument was awarded a Green Flag, the first natural green space to achieve the prestigious award.

Cannock Man Reports Horrifying Encounter With Unknown Creature

After recent events worldwide regarding Bigfoot, interest in Cannock's very own alleged sasquatch has heightened, www.sundaymercury.net was approached by a Cannock resident who claims to have had a very strange encounter over in the Staffordshire forest... we haven't published their name at their request.

"Last year around June time, me and two other friends were supposed to go to a 24-hour basketball event for charity. Us being lads we decided to skive and go and sit down the lane in my car, and do what typical teenage lads do.

"Anyway, so me and two others were parked up in a little pull-in, down a lane in Gentleshaw not too far from Burntwood, Cannock. We were parked in this pull-in facing the road, with trees either side of us, and a gated-field behind. It was around two o'clock in the morning and we had the interior light on in the car, when my friend in the front passenger seat said he could see something moving outside, on the right side of the car.

"We turned off the interior light to get a better look and could definitely see something moving in the trees in the distance. Our first thoughts were a person or an animal, all we could see was something large moving around. This thing must have been about 10-15m away. (I didn't exactly have time to measure!) I turned the car headlights and hazard lights on, to see if I could see anymore. This thing was the shape of a human, but stood about 7-8ft, it was hard to tell with it being dark and such a distance away.

"At first sight it was crouching, not completely to the floor, but approx half way and facing directly at the car. It was too dark to see whether it was staring at us, but im guessing it was! As soon as it realised we had seen it, it stood up straight, hesitated and ran towards us. Well as you can imagine I wasn't sticking around. This thing was definitely not human, it was huge! It wasn't just tall, but broad and stocky too. I haven't got a clue what its face was like, or its skin or fur, or whatever it had. It wasn't light enough.

"My back passenger darted to the other side of the car, and nobody said a word. As it came towards us it was rustling big bushes, shaking pretty big trees, it was just like in a horror movie. I drove out of the pull-in and turned left down the lane, this thing was keeping up with the car, but in the trees. I was trying so hard not to look in my mirrors, but I could see it in the corner of my eyes, I don't know whether it was flying or jumping or what.

"Its strength and quickness was unbelievable. Obviously I wasn't thinking that at the time, I just wanted to get the hell out of there! I drove to the bottom of the lane doing about 80mph, and it just vanished as soon as I came up to a pub at the bottom of the lane. I didn't stop until I entered a residential area.

"The fear was unreal, I have never been so scared, and didn't think I would ever experience anything that would scare me so much. I felt physically sick, cold and shakey. I just didn't want to believe what I had seen. None of us discussed it, I think we were all in denial! I completely blanked it from my mind after that, and didn't discuss it again untill 3 days ago, when the front seat passenger brought it up in conversation, and now I can't forget about it.

"I hate re-living it, but I thought I would let others know of my experience. I'm not asking you to believe me, because to everyone else it probably seems so far fetched, but I know what I saw and so do the other two lads. I'm not at all saying I saw "bigfoot" but I know 100% this thing was not human. I know other stories say the thing they saw had red eyes, but I didn't see red eyes, I wasn't close enough to see. Glad I wasn't too.

"What haunts me now, is... What would its face have looked like? Where is it? It must have been watching us, and what would it have done if we didnt get away?"

Two 'Dead' Men Return In Transkei, South Africa

dispatch - A youth who was believed to have been stabbed to death and buried in 2005 has resurfaced in yet another mysterious return of a man from the dead in the Transkei, South Africa.

Siviwe Ntwalana, of Mthatha's New Payne Location, turned up at one of the village's homes, where he was given food last Thursday.

"They noticed his resemblance to our family," said his father, Mbongolwana Ntwalana, yesterday.

His elder brother's daughter went to check and recognised him, he said.

Ntwalana said Siviwe, born in 1983, was later taken to his home, but his mother could not believe her eyes.

"She was shocked because she knew that her son had been buried," he said.

The village's committee was approached and then police took him to the local hospital.

"At that time I was not at home, but when I woke up the following day family members came to ask about him," Ntwalana said, adding that he and his family subsequently went to the hospital to look for Siviwe.

Other family members were convinced it was his son when they saw him, but Ntwalana only believed it after checking certain marks on his body.

"What made me believe was a mark where he was gored by a cow near the eye," he said.

"We were very excited to see him again because we knew he died."

He explained that Siviwe was stabbed by another man during a love triangle argument and reported to have been killed.

Ntwalana said his son has yet to explain where he had been.

"He has not told us where he was all along. He breaks down when he speaks."

Superintendent Mzukisi Fatyela said police were investigating.

He said his fingerprints would be matched with those in his ID application and those of the person who was buried in 2005.

"That process will cast light on what exactly is taking place," Fatyela said.

He added that the police would investigate what happened to the murder docket that had been opened.

This is the second such incident in just under year in Transkei.

The Daily Dispatch reported last year that hundreds of people walked long distances to hear a minibus taxi driver who claimed he returned from the dead eight years after he was buried.

Nkosinathi Ntsente, of Hluleka near Ngqeleni, was found wandering in Ngqeleni and taken home by his elderly mother and uncle last March.

Ntsente was believed to have been shot dead during taxi-related violence between the Ncedo and Border taxi associations in 2001.

Ntsente had claimed that he saw what had happened in the supposed shooting in which a person resembling him was shot and buried, as well as the vigil and funeral of his "duplicate".

Fatyela said people claimed that it was normal for people to return from the dead. "We (as police) do not know about it. People claim it happens often. I personally don't know it," he said."

Hundreds Arrive To See 'Dead Man'

dispatch - Hundreds of people have walked long distances to Hluleka in the Transkei this week to hear a minibus taxi driver who claims he returned from the dead eight years after he was buried.

The true facts of how Nkosinathi Ntsente, 39, was supposedly shot dead in taxi violence and publicly buried, and was then found wandering around a village eight years later remains a mystery.

Ntsente himself tells a story that is filled with mysticism, but comes no closer to explaining what happened.

Ntsente's supposed "resurrection" has spread like a wildfire through Transkei, drawing crowds to his homestead.

From the early hours of the morning until late, he keeps repeating his story of how he was forced to survive on human blood, sorghum and wild berries while living in the forest.

"I'm tired of telling the same story, the whole day, every day," he said.

It was believed Ntsente had been shot dead in 2001 during taxi-related violence between the Ncedo and Border taxi associations.

Ntsente claims the gunmen were in white minibus taxi – and that he saw it all happening. "During the shooting I saw myself standing on another side watching a person who resembled me being shot in the forehead, right knee stomach and spine."

Ntsente said his badly injured "duplicate" was taken to St Barnabas Hospital in Libode . "I witnessed this person dying. The body was taken to the hospital's mortuary where (it was) cut open to remove internal organs before it was kept in a fridge."

Ntsente claims he even witnessed his night vigil and funeral and was then taken by "four female witches" to a dark forest where he met "lots of other abducted people".

"We mostly drank blood and ate izinsipa (used sorghum) and wild berries. I was released after witches said I was too powerful for them to make me do evil things," he said.

The news of his "awakening" broke on March 23 when his uncle, Washington Qalingoma, 59, and his elderly mother Mabhikani Ntsente found him wandering the streets in Ngqeleni and took him home.

Qalingoma said he believed Ntsente had been abducted, but could not explain why a funeral had been held. "It would be up to his father's family to decide whether or not to open the grave in order to see what is inside the coffin," said Qalingoma.

Mabhikani said she was only interested in taking care of her son: "I'm only happy that I have my son again after I had buried his body."

On Monday, local minibus taxi owners threw a party at the Hluleka taxi rank to celebrate Ntsente' s "return from the death".

His old friend Duma Ndzendze said people in the local taxi industry were still celebrating. "We are going to support him until he fully recovers," he said. "Right now his mind does not sound stable."

MUFON witness report: - undisclosed location in New Mexico - I was in the kitchen looking outside and I saw a strange cloud formation. I grabbed my camera a took two photos of what seemed like an invisible triangle surrounded by clouds. I did not think much of it because I went back inside and brushed it off. The time was about 3pm. Later in the year many people were reporting triangle typed ufos throughout the world and I remembered taking the photo of the invisible triangle shaped oddity. I have seen a lot strange things in the sky lately but it always seems that I do not have my camera nearby.

NOTE: granted, this is most likely a natural formation in the clouds but it is interesting that it seemed to hold shape for awhile. Look at the enhancement (done by someone other than the witness)...is this a viable, though invisible / cloaked, mass shrouded by the clouds?...Lon
